Voor een machinebouwer in de brede regio Kortrijk zoeken we een Teamlead Mechanisch Ontwerp. Je stuurt een team van ongeveer tien ontwerpers aan, waarvan zes vast in dienst. Je krijgt de kans om richting te geven, zonder afstand te nemen van het eigenlijke tekenwerk. De ideale match is een technisch sterke persoon die de ploeg ondersteunt én inspireert.

Het bedrijf maakt deel uit van een internationale groep, maar houdt vast aan zijn KMO-karakter: korte lijnen, veel betrokkenheid, en ruimte voor initiatief.

Wat houdt de job in?

  • Als teamleider begeleid je een team van ontwerpers en ben je hun eerste aanspreekpunt bij technische vragen
  • Naast je coördinerende rol blijf je zelf actief betrokken bij het ontwerpwerk
  • Jij kijkt kritisch naar het concept dat door sales werd uitgewerkt, en vertaalt dat naar een concrete machine
  • Bij productievragen bied je technische ondersteuning en help je knelpunten oplossen
  • Op termijn kan je doorgroeien naar een bredere rol als projectverantwoordelijke
  • Je hebt een bachelor of master in elektromechanica of aanverwante richting
  • Minstens 5 jaar ervaring als mechanisch ontwerper is noodzakelijk
  • Je hebt ervaring met SolidWorks en denkt mee in functie van praktische uitvoerbaarheid
