The posting

Als teamlead productie hout ben je verantwoordelijk voor de goede werking van de zagerij (zagen, nesten, afplakken en boren). Je zorgt dat de productie vlot loopt, dat de kwaliteit hoog blijft en dat klanten hun bestellingen correct en op tijd krijgen.

Je combineert leiding geven met actief meewerken. Zo ben je dicht bij je team en houd je voeling met de praktijk.

Wat ga je doen?

Teammanagement en meewerkend leiderschap

• Je start de dag met het bekijken van de planning en het verdelen van de taken.

• Je houdt rekening met deadlines en de sterktes van je team.

• Je werkt zelf actief mee aan de machines zoals de opdeelzaag, kantenlijmer en CNC-machines. Tegelijk stuur je je team aan op de vloer en houd je het overzicht.

• Je begeleidt collega’s, geeft duidelijke feedback en motiveert hen.

• Je zorgt voor een goede sfeer en sterke samenwerking. Kortom, je haalt het beste in hen naar boven.

Zagerij, kwaliteit en leverbetrouwbaarheid

• Je bewaakt de planning en zorgt dat alles volgens schema verloopt.

• Je controleert de kwaliteit van de producten en grijpt snel in bij afwijkingen.

• Je meldt problemen en zoekt samen naar oplossingen.

• Je lost technische storingen zo snel mogelijk op, zodat de productie blijft draaien. Jouw initiatief in procesanalyse en procesoptimalisatie maken het verschil.

Veiligheid en orde

• Je zorgt voor een veilige en nette werkplek.

• Je ziet erop toe dat iedereen de veiligheidsregels volgt en de juiste beschermingsmiddelen gebruikt.

• Je grijpt meteen in bij risico’s en zorgt voor structuur en orde op de vloer.

Projecten en samenwerking met de Operations Manager en andere teamleads

• Je werkt nauw samen met de operations manager en collega-teamleads, neemt deel aan overlegmomenten en denkt mee na over verbeterprojecten.

• Je helpt bij het invoeren van nieuwe werkwijzen en zorgt dat deze goed worden toegepast.

Leverbetrouwbaarheid en klantenservice

• Je zorgt dat bestellingen correct, volledig en op tijd klaar zijn.

• Je werkt hiervoor samen met andere afdelingen om de leverbetrouwbaarheid te verzekeren.

Rapportage en communicatie

• Je communiceert duidelijk met interne stakeholders zoals planning, aankoop, magazijn en transport.

• Je meldt problemen of vertragingen op tijd en denkt mee in oplossingen.

• Je hebt een technische opleiding (hout of gelijkaardig) en/of relevante ervaring.

• Je hebt minstens 3 jaar ervaring in een productieomgeving hout (of maatmeubiliair).

• Je hebt kennis van: opdeelzaag (hout), kantenlijmer, drie-assige CNC (nesting) en verticale CNC (boorstraat).

• Je denkt commercieel en neemt ownership.

• Je denkt vanuit de klant en begrijpt hoe belangrijk kwaliteit en timing zijn.

• Je neemt verantwoordelijkheid voor het volledige proces en het eindresultaat.

• Je wacht niet af, maar neemt initiatief bij problemen.

• Je zoekt oplossingen en zorgt dat afspraken worden nagekomen.

• Je kan het overzicht bewaren en denkt op lange termijn.

• Je bent een coachende leider die duidelijk communiceert en graag samenwerkt.

• Je communiceert open, eerlijk en respectvol.

• Kennis of ervaring met Proteus en Alphacam is een plus.
