The posting

In deze functie combineer je jouw technische kennis met het aansturen van een team van een vijftal techniekers. Je bent hun eerste aanspreekpunt bij dagelijkse vragen, helpt hen bij technische diagnoses en zorgt ervoor dat onderhoud en herstellingen goed voorbereid en opgevolgd worden. Tegelijk houd je het overzicht over de werkplanning, wisselstukken en de status van het rollend materieel. Je staat dicht bij de werkvloer, neemt verantwoordelijkheid en werkt samen met de werkplaatsverantwoordelijke om de garage vlot te laten draaien.

Wat ga je doen?

  • Je stuurt dagelijks een team van ongeveer 5 techniekers aan, begeleidt hen en ondersteunt waar nodig en je helpt bij het diagnosticeren van technische problemen aan zware machines, vrachtwagens en ander rollend materieel
  • Je zorgt voor de werkvoorbereiding en volgt de geplande onderhouds- en herstellingswerken op en je bewaakt zowel het preventieve als het curatieve onderhoud
  • Je springt bij wanneer techniekers met complexere technische problemen te maken krijgen en je beheert de nodige wisselstukken en zorgt dat de juiste onderdelen tijdig beschikbaar zijn
  • Je ondersteunt de werkplaatsverantwoordelijke bij bestellingen en aankopen en je rapporteert over de status van onderhoud en herstellingen en geeft aan wanneer bijkomende acties nodig zijn
  • Je denkt mee na over hoe de werking in de garage efficiënter en beter kan

Waar ga je werken? Je komt terecht in een familiale en technisch georiënteerde organisatie waar de werkplaats een belangrijke rol speelt in de dagelijkse werking. Je werkt in een team van techniekers en staat rechtstreeks in contact met de mensen op de vloer. De lijnen zijn kort en je krijgt ruimte om verantwoordelijkheid te nemen. Je wordt ondersteund in je functie, maar krijgt ook de mogelijkheid om mee te denken over de werking van de garage en verbeteringen zelf op te nemen.

  • Je hebt een bachelor in autotechnologie, elektromechanica of een gelijkaardige technische richting en je hebt ervaring met onderhoud en herstellingen van rollend materieel, zware machines, vrachtwagens of gelijkaardige voertuigen
  • Je hebt een sterk technisch inzicht en kunt moeilijke storingen mee analyseren en je bent oplossingsgericht en denkt liever mee naar een oplossing dan problemen door te schuiven
  • Je hebt een natuurlijk gezag en kunt techniekers op een duidelijke en correcte manier begeleiden en je voelt je verantwoordelijk voor het resultaat van je team
