Als Teamleader ondersteun je samen met twee collega‑teamleaders de Technical Manager en zorg je voor een vlotte dagelijkse aansturing van het team mechaniekers. Je bent het centrale aanspreekpunt in de werkplaats, bewaakt kwaliteit en veiligheid, en combineert technische expertise met sterk people management.

Wat houdt de functie in?

  • Aansturen en coachen van een team van ±10 medewerkers (mecaniciens, lassers en monteurs)
  • Technische ondersteuning bieden en collega’s helpen bij complexe diagnoses
  • Kwaliteit, efficiëntie en correcte werkmethodes bewaken
  • Ongeveer 70% administratief werk, werkplaatsorganisatie en personeelsplanning
  • Ongeveer 20% hands-on meewerken
  • Om de 6 weken neem je deel aan het permanentiesysteem: één volledige week van thuis uit na de werkuren en tijdens het weekend, waarbij je eerst telefonisch ondersteunt en indien nodig ter plaatse rijdt.

Planning & opvolging

  • Voorbereiden en opvolgen van werkfiches
  • Controleren van correcte registratie van onderdelen en uitgevoerde werken
  • Afstemmen van planning met interne diensten
  • Zorgen voor een georganiseerde en gestructureerde werkplaats

Veiligheid & aanspreekpunt

  • Mee waken over veiligheid in het atelier
  • Voorbereiden en begeleiden van toolboxmeetings
  • Aanspreekpunt voor chauffeurs bij technische vragen en rechterhand van de Head of Workshop

Voor onze klant zijn we op zoek naar een kandidaat met volgende ervaring of competenties:

  • Diploma in een technische richting (bv. mechanica) of gelijkwaardige ervaring.
  • Eerdere ervaring als autotechnieker, diagnose technieker, service advisor (die wil doorgroeien)
  • Je bent een echte people manager
  • Technische plannen kunnen lezen en begrijpen.
  • Veiligheid en kwaliteit staan centraal; werkprocedures worden strikt gevolgd.
  • Zelfstandig én in team kunnen werken.
  • Bereidheid om bij te leren via opleidingen.
  • Sterke communicatie in het Nederlands, Frans is een plus
  • Rijbewijs CE en ADR-attest zijn een plus.
