Jouw verantwoordelijkheden

Onze klant is een toonaangevende logistieke speler actief in goederenbehandeling, opslag en transport. Voor hun afdeling douane en expeditie zoeken ze een ervaren Teamleader Douane & Expeditie.

Je komt terecht in een dynamische havenomgeving waar geen enkele werkdag dezelfde is. Je volgt douanedossiers op van A tot Z, coördineert de nodige transporten en ondersteunt een klein team bij complexe dossiers en operationele vragen.

Wat zal je doen?

  • Verwerken, controleren en opvolgen van douane- en transportdocumenten voor invoer, uitvoer en doorvoer
  • Beheren van douanedossiers en zorgen voor een correcte en tijdige afhandeling
  • Organiseren van aansluitende transporten voor klanten
  • Voorbereiden en opvolgen van de operationele planning
  • Proactief aanpakken van mogelijke problemen of vertragingen
  • Afstemmen met klanten, terminals, transporteurs en interne diensten
  • Opvolgen van het blokkeren en vrijgeven van goederen
  • Coördineren en ondersteunen van twee douaneagenten
  • Behandelen van complexere dossiers en beantwoorden van vragen
  • Bewaken van een correcte en tijdige facturatie
  • Rapporteren van belangrijke aandachtspunten aan het departementshoofd
  • Meewerken aan procesverbeteringen en efficiëntere werkmethodes

Wie zoeken we?

  • Ervaring als douanedeclarant; ervaring in een havenomgeving is een sterke troef
  • Vlotte mondelinge en schriftelijke kennis van het Nederlands en Engels
  • Kennis van douanespecifieke software en een goede beheersing van Excel en Outlook
  • Kennis van AEO, CBAM, FAVV en quota is een pluspunt
  • Administratief sterk, nauwkeurig en goed georganiseerd
  • Zelfstandige werkwijze, gecombineerd met een echte teamspirit
  • Sterke communicatieve vaardigheden in contacten met klanten, collega’s en externe partners
  • Praktische ingesteldheid, oplossingsgerichte aanpak en zin voor initiatief
