Onze klant is een voorname, internationale transportorganisatie met 550 medewerkers verspreid over 6 landen met hoofdkantoor in Antwerpen. 'Know-how', klantgerichtheid en vernieuwing staan al meer dan 100 jaar centraal. Ze zijn actief in alle mogelijke takken van 'shipping', logistiek, luchtvracht, wegvervoer en 'travel'. Plaats van tewerksteling is Antwerpen.

Jobomschrijving

Als Teamleader Expeditie kom je terecht in een ondernemende en familiale logistieke omgeving waar samenwerking, expertise en klantgerichtheid centraal staan. In deze rol combineer je operationele betrokkenheid met het aansturen en ondersteunen van een ervaren expeditieteam. Je zal de drijvende kracht zijn achter een team van vijf collega's.

Welke taken neem jij op?

  • Coördineren van de dagelijkse werking van het expeditieteam en bewaken van de operationele continuïteit.
  • Verdelen van dossiers en taken op basis van prioriteiten, competenties en workload.
  • Begeleiden, coachen en motiveren van collega's om gezamenlijke doelstellingen te realiseren.
  • Zelf beheren van complexe expeditiedossiers van A tot Z, inclusief opvolging en facturatie.
  • Fungeren als centraal aanspreekpunt voor klanten, leveranciers, agenten en interne stakeholders.
  • Actief bijdragen aan procesverbeteringen en een efficiënte dienstverlening.

Wij zoeken als Teamleader Expeditie een ervaren expediteur met natuurlijke leiderschapskwaliteiten die energie haalt uit teamwork, verantwoordelijkheid en klantcontact. Je behoudt moeiteloos het overzicht en weet mensen mee te nemen in een professionele en resultaatgerichte aanpak.

  • Je beschikt over min. 5 jaar ervaring binnen expeditie en hebt een sterke kennis van forwardingprocessen (ervaring met het opstellen van douanedocumenten is een troef).
  • Je hebt ervaring met een diversiteit aan goederen (ervaring met reefers en voeding is een troef).
  • Je beheert dossiers zelfstandig van opstart tot afronding.
  • Je weet collega's te coachen, te ondersteunen en richting te geven waar nodig.
  • Je werkt georganiseerd, accuraat en behoudt het overzicht in een dynamische omgeving.
  • Je bent oplossingsgericht, neemt initiatief en denkt proactief vooruit.
  • Je communiceert vlot in Nederlands en Engels; bijkomende talen zijn een meerwaarde.
