Onze klant is een internationale logistieke speler en specialist in intermodaal transport, gevestigd in de Antwerpse havenregio. Ze verzorgen transporten via het spoor, de binnenwateren en de weg om goederen vlot en efficiënt op hun bestemming te krijgen. Je komt terecht in een organisatie met een warme, familiale sfeer, korte communicatielijnen en een no-nonsense mentaliteit.

In deze rol als Teamleader Operations Transport ben jij de drijvende kracht achter het planningsteam voor lichter- en treintransporten. Je combineert het coachen en aansturen van je team met een actieve rol in de dagelijkse operationele planning. Jij zorgt voor de juiste ondersteuning, bewaakt de kwalitatieve uitvoering van het containervervoer en treedt op als aanspreekpunt bij complexe logistieke vraagstukken of escalaties.

Functieomschrijving

  • Dagelijks aansturen, coachen en ondersteunen van de operations planners binnen de afdeling.
  • Bewaken van de operationele processen rond containervervoer per lichter en trein.
  • Opvangen en snel oplossen van escalaties, incidenten of grote logistieke verstoringen.
  • Verdelen van de werkdruk en het efficiënt inplannen van de capaciteit binnen het team.
  • Meedenken over en implementeren van procesverbeteringen om de werking van de afdeling te optimaliseren.
  • Opvolgen van de KPI's, prestaties en rapporteringen richting het management.

Profiel

  • Je beschikt over een eerste leidinggevende ervaring of bent een ervaren planner die klaar is voor een stap als teamlead binnen de logistiek of expeditie.
  • Grondige kennis van transportprocessen en intermodaal containervervoer
  • Je weet mensen te motiveren, communicaties vlot te stroomlijnen en bewaart de rust in hectische situaties.
  • Collega's omschrijven jou als besluitvaardig, organisatorisch sterk en mensgericht.
