The posting

Voor onze klant, een internationaal distributiecentrum in de regio Gent (Desteldonk), zijn wij op zoek naar een dynamische Teamleader Logistiek. In deze rol werk je in nauwe samenwerking met je collega-teamleaders en de supervisie om de dagelijkse magazijnactiviteiten vlot en veilig te laten verlopen. Je combineert operationele sturing in SAP met een coachende aanpak op de werkvloer om het team naar een hoger niveau te tillen.

  • Dagelijks verdelen van taken over het team en bewaken van de nodige rotatie in werkzaamheden
  • Briefen van het team over de taakverdeling, prioriteiten en belangrijke bedrijfsmededelingen
  • Actief bewaken van de veiligheid op de werkvloer en het stimuleren van een preventieve veiligheidscultuur
  • Registreren, monitoren en bijsturen van alle logistieke taken binnen het SAP-systeem
  • Meedenken over structurele oplossingen voor operationele uitdagingen in tandem met de supervisie
  • Verzorgen van een kwalitatieve ploegoverdracht naar de aansluitende shift
  • Operationeel bijsturen en inspringen in het magazijn waar nodig
  • Coachen en motiveren van medewerkers via een positieve en enthousiasmerende communicatiestijl
  • Monitoren van afwezigheden en de interne skillmatrix van de ploeg up-to-date houden
  • Voorbereiden en voeren van evaluatiegesprekken met de teamleden
  • Proactief opvolgen van de groepssfeer en tijdig ondernemen van actie bij mogelijke escalaties
  • Aantoonbare ervaring in een logistieke of een andere snelle, dynamische omgeving
  • Een eerste ervaring in people management of de ambitie en het potentieel om hierin de eerste stappen te zetten
  • Ervaring met SAP wordt beschouwd als een groot pluspunt
  • Een duidelijke, consequente en positieve communicatiestijl
  • Veiligheid is voor jou een absolute prioriteit en je vertoont hierin voorbeeldgedrag
  • Oplossingsgerichte mindset met het vermogen om gestructureerd te blijven tijdens piekmomenten
  • Uitstekende beheersing van het Nederlands en het Engels (lezen, spreken en schrijven)
  • Bereidheid om te werken in een roterend tweeploegensysteem (5u50-14u / 13u50-22u).
