The posting

Je komt terecht binnen een internationale productieomgeving waar dagelijks grote volumes grondstoffen en afgewerkte producten worden verwerkt en getransporteerd. Binnen de logistieke afdeling ben je verantwoordelijk voor de inbound- en outboundactiviteiten: van de ontvangst van grondstoffen tot de stockage en de verzending van afgewerkte producten. Je komt terecht in een omgeving waar de voorbije jaren sterk is ingezet op veiligheid en een goede organisatie & waar samenwerking en een goede teamsfeer belangrijk zijn.

Ben jij een people manager die graag tussen de mensen staat? Krijg je energie van een logistieke omgeving waarin geen dag hetzelfde verloopt en waar snel schakelen belangrijk is? Kun jij rustig blijven wanneer de druk toeneemt en haal je voldoening uit het motiveren en begeleiden van een team?

We zoeken een Teamleader Logistiek die zijn team weet te ondersteunen, de logistieke flow bewaakt en aanwezig is op de werkvloer.

Een greep uit jouw takenpakket:

  • Aansturen, coachen en begeleiden van 5 à 7 heftruckchauffeurs en zorgen voor een efficiënte werkverdeling.
  • Coördineren van de inbound- en outboundactiviteiten en afstemmen met de transportplanning bij wijzigingen of onverwachte situaties.
  • Opvolgen van medewerkers, waaronder sollicitatie-, functionerings-, evaluatie- en verzuimgesprekken.
  • Bewaken van veiligheid, kwaliteit, orde en netheid en opvolgen van stockniveaus.
  • Instaan voor de administratieve opvolging, zoals verlofplanning en registratie van gegevens.

Je bent in deze functie een teamleader zichtbaar aanwezig op de werkvloer. Jouw belangrijkste rol is om overzicht te houden, je mensen te ondersteunen en ervoor te zorgen dat de operatie blijft draaien.

  • Ervaring in een leidinggevende rol, bij voorkeur binnen een logistieke, industriële of productieomgeving.
  • Zeer goede kennis van de Nederlandse taal.
  • Je kan werken in een tweeploegenstelsel.
  • Verder kan je vlot overweg met de computer.
  • Sterk in people management: medewerkers motiveren, coachen en meenemen in veranderingen, met een duidelijke en menselijke aanpak.
  • Daarnaast ben je procesmatig en analytisch ingesteld.
