The posting

Voor onze klant, een logistiek en warehousing servicecenter, zijn we op zoek naar een teamleader warehouse operator.

Als teamleader warehouse operator ben jij een belangrijke schakel op de werkvloer. Samen met de shiftleader zorg je ervoor dat de dagelijkse magazijnactiviteiten vlot, efficiënt en volgens planning verlopen.

Je bent een meewerkende teamleader: je stuurt niet alleen aan, maar staat zelf tussen je medewerkers op de werkvloer. Je ondersteunt waar nodig, bewaakt de werking en zorgt voor duidelijke communicatie. Daarbij verlies je veiligheid, kwaliteit en teamspirit nooit uit het oog.

Wat ga je doen?

  • Je geeft dagelijks leiding aan een team van ongeveer 25 medewerkers en werkt nauw samen met de shiftleader.
  • Je ondersteunt de shiftleader bij de dagelijkse operationele werking en bent het eerste aanspreekpunt voor je team.
  • Je werkt actief mee op de werkvloer bij onder andere picking, packing, consolidatie, laden en lossen.
  • Je volgt de operationele processen van A tot Z op en bewaakt de planning en vooropgestelde doelstellingen.
  • Je stuurt bij wanneer processen niet volgens plan verlopen en zorgt snel voor een passende oplossing.
  • Je ziet verbeterpunten en denkt actief mee over het optimaliseren van processen en werkmethodes.
  • Je waakt over de correcte naleving van procedures, kwaliteitsnormen en veiligheidsvoorschriften.
  • Je controleert de correcte verwerking van orders, verpakkingen en andere magazijnactiviteiten.
  • Je begeleidt en ondersteunt nieuwe medewerkers tijdens hun opleiding en helpt je team zich verder te ontwikkelen.
  • Je werkt nauw samen met Operations Support om een correcte voorraad te garanderen.
  • Je zorgt mee voor een positieve, professionele en motiverende werksfeer.

Wat kan je?

  • Je hebt minstens 5 jaar ervaring in een gelijkaardige functie binnen logistiek of een magazijnomgeving.
  • Je bent een natuurlijke leider en weet mensen te motiveren en te verbinden.
  • Je bent resultaatgericht, neemt verantwoordelijkheid en behoudt het overzicht, ook tijdens drukke momenten.
  • Je bent stressbestendig, flexibel en weet snel te schakelen bij onverwachte situaties.
  • Je werkt vlot met digitale systemen en leert nieuwe software snel aan.
  • Je hebt een goede kennis van Excel en kunt dit gebruiken voor dagelijkse opvolging en rapportering.
  • Je bent bereid om te werken van zondag tot en met donderdag, telkens van 14u00 tot 22u00. Vrijdag en zaterdag zijn je vaste vrije dagen.
