Hamiplant werkt met een slim, bijna foutloos systeem. Planten worden bij binnenkomst gescand en opgeslagen. Orders worden virtueel opgebouwd op karren. Orderpickers verzamelen planten en zetten ze op de lopende band, waarna de band ze naar de juiste kar brengt. Dankzij scanners, data en duidelijke stappen weet je precies waar alles is, wie waarmee bezig is en wat er nog moet gebeuren. Wat ga je doen? Je begint op de vloer met een korte dagstart. Even checken: wie is er vandaag, wat komt er binnen en waar gaat het waarschijnlijk pieken? Het proces komt op gang. De eerste planten van kwekers komen binnen, de scanners gaan aan en de karren worden gekoppeld. Jij zorgt dat het proces soepel opstart en dat iedereen weet: dit is de volgorde, dit is de focus. Daarna ben je vooral waar het gebeurt: tussen je mensen. Je loopt mee, kijkt mee, stuurt bij en geeft energie. Zie je dat iemand vastloopt of dat een afdeling achter raakt? Dan spring je erin en zet je het weer recht. Ondertussen houd je contact met Operations. Je koppelt terug wat jullie halen, wat er nog aankomt en waar het kan gaan knellen. En vaak zie jij het al voordat het echt misgaat, dus je schakelt op tijd. In de middag is er tijd om even achter de laptop in de data te duiken. De schermen laten precies zien hoe jullie draaien en waar het beter kan. Jij gebruikt die cijfers om slimmer te sturen: minder fouten, meer tempo, meer rust in het proces. Is er een team dat boven zichzelf uitstijgt? Dan maak je daar ook een moment van, met voor iedereen een lekker stuk appeltaart.
