The posting

Elke dag vertrekken bij Verko een 80-tal chauffeurs en ophalers om GFT, PMD, huisvuil, papier en karton op te halen in 9 gemeenten. Achter die dagelijkse operatie staat een team van drie teamleiders dat ervoor zorgt dat de juiste mensen, voertuigen en rondes op het juiste moment samenkomen.

Daarom zoeken we een Teamleider / Planner Afvalinzameling: een organisator die overzicht houdt wanneer de planning verandert én een leidinggevende die dicht bij de medewerkers staat. Je maakt duidelijke afspraken, coacht mensen in hun functioneren en grijpt in wanneer afspraken niet worden nageleefd. Zo zorg je samen met je collega-teamleiders en de manager afvalinzameling voor een veilige, efficiënte en betrouwbare dienstverlening.

We zoeken vooral iemand die graag organiseert én graag met mensen werkt. Je houdt ervan om een complexe planning als een puzzel in elkaar te laten vallen, maar je durft ook een duidelijk gesprek aan te gaan wanneer iets niet loopt zoals afgesproken.

  • Je hebt relevante ervaring met personeels- of operationele planning;
  • Je hebt ervaring als leidinggevende en voelt je comfortabel in een rol waarin je zowel coacht als bijstuurt;
  • Je kunt snel schakelen wanneer de planning onverwacht verandert en houdt ook onder druk overzicht;
  • Je communiceert helder, respectvol en kordaat;
  • Je bent toegankelijk voor medewerkers, zonder je leidinggevende rol uit het oog te verliezen;
  • Je durft medewerkers feedback te geven en hen aan te spreken op gemaakte afspraken;
  • Je werkt gestructureerd, efficiënt en resultaatgericht;
  • Je hebt aandacht voor veiligheid, kwaliteit en dienstverlening;
  • Je werkt vlot met de courante Office-toepassingen en digitale planningsmiddelen;
  • Je ziet verbetermogelijkheden en neemt initiatief om de werking beter te organiseren.

Ervaring in afvalinzameling, logistiek, transport, productie of een andere operationele omgeving is een pluspunt, maar geen absolute vereiste.

Vereisten

  • Je beschikt over een bachelor of kan een gelijkwaardig niveau aantonen door relevante ervaring;
  • Je voldoet aan het preventie- en veiligheidsprofiel dat voor deze functie van toepassing is;
  • Je slaagt in de selectieprocedure.
