Teamleider verkeerscentrale Rijkswaterstaat Functie omschrijving Dit ga je doen Vanuit de verkeerscentrales van Rijkswaterstaat wordt het verkeers- en incidentmanagement op de Nederlandse snelwegen gecoördineerd. De verkeerscentrale in Utrecht verzorgt deze dienstverlening 24 uur per dag, 7 dagen per week voor de regio Midden-Nederland. Als teamleider stuur jij het team aan dat hiervoor verantwoordelijk is. Een rol waarin jouw leiderschap direct bijdraagt aan een veilig en bereikbaar Nederland. Hoe jij bijdraagt Als teamleider ben je, samen met de coördinerend wegverkeersleiders, verantwoordelijk voor de dagelijkse operationele aansturing van de medewerkers in de meldkamer van de verkeerscentrale. Je kent je medewerkers, weet wat zij nodig hebben en creëert een prettige en veilige werkomgeving. Daarbij zet je individuele kwaliteiten op de juiste plek in en stimuleer je medewerkers om zich verder te ontwikkelen. Zo werk je samen met jouw team continu aan goede processen en een kwalitatief hoogstaande dienstverlening. Je denkt in oplossingen, handelt integer en geeft het goede voorbeeld. Je begrijpt het politieke en bestuurlijke karakter van Rijkswaterstaat en kunt daardoor omgaan met veranderingen en onzekerheden. In je leiderschap pas je je aanpak aan op wat jouw team en medewerkers nodig hebben. Daarbij blijf je ook jezelf ontwikkelen en stimuleer je jouw team om hetzelfde te doen. Speerpunten voor onze leidinggevenden Rijkswaterstaat heeft meer werk te verzetten dan ooit. Dat vraagt om interne slagkracht. Slagkracht waaraan jij als teamleider een grote bijdrage levert. Voor iedere leidinggevende gelden dezelfde speerpunten. Allereerst stel je in al je handelingen de opgave buiten voorop. Onze maatschappelijke opgave is dus leidend bij de keuzes die je maakt. Daarnaast geef je je medewerkers heldere sturing en leg je je keuzes begrijpelijk uit. Tot slot stel je iedere medewerker in staat optimaal bij te dragen aan zijn of haar...
