De Watergroep is het grootste drinkwaterbedrijf in Vlaanderen. Via een netwerk van meer dan 34.000 kilometer waterleidingen levert De Watergroep op een duurzame manier drinkwater aan 3,4 miljoen klanten in 167 gemeenten. Samen met zo'n 1.600 collega's bouw je mee aan een klimaatrobuuste en duurzame watervoorziening.

Als Teammanager Databeheer Operaties geef je richting aan de datastrategie over de volledige waterketen van drinkwater, van de bron over waterbehandeling tot de distributie via het leidingnet naar de klant. Je zorgt ervoor dat data correct beheerd worden en draagt bij aan efficiëntere processen, betere beslissingen en innovatieve oplossingen.

Je werkt daarbij nauw samen met collega's uit verschillende afdelingen en geeft leiding aan een team van 3 à 4 medewerkers. Jouw team werkt verspreid in Vlaanderen, in één van onze drie kantoorgebouwen nl. in Brussel, Gent of Hasselt. Jij mag dan ook zelf kiezen welk van deze kantoren jouw standplaats wordt.

Als teammanager Databeheer Operaties bouw je mee aan een toekomstgerichte dataorganisatie.

Je:

  • ontwikkelt en realiseert de datastrategie voor de directie Operaties;
  • vertaalt strategische doelstellingen naar een duidelijk stappenplan en volgt op of alles goed wordt uitgevoerd;
  • zorgt ervoor dat data binnen de operationele organisatie op een correcte, veilige en betrouwbare manier worden gebruikt en beheerd;
  • stimuleert de ontwikkeling van praktische data-oplossingen waarmee collega's zelf beter met hun gegevens aan de slag kunnen;
  • brengt collega's met verschillende expertises samen en begeleidt projecten van idee tot uitvoering;
  • helpt de organisatie om beslissingen meer op basis van duidelijke en betrouwbare gegevens te nemen;
  • volgt nieuwe ontwikkelingen rond AI, data en digitale toepassingen op en bekijkt hoe De Watergroep die slim kan inzetten;
  • vergroot continu jouw expertise en bouwt een intern en extern netwerk uit;
  • coacht en ondersteunt een team van 3 à 4 medewerkers zodat zij zich continu kunnen ontwikkelen.

Data zijn pas echt waardevol wanneer ze leiden tot betere beslissingen.

Je kan die strategie en uitvoering moeiteloos combineren. Je krijgt energie van complexe uitdagingen en weet mensen op de werkvloer mee te nemen in verandering. Dankzij jouw analytische blik én sterke communicatieve vaardigheden slaag je erin verschillende stakeholders rond één gezamenlijk doel te verenigen.

Daarnaast beschik je over:

  • een masterdiploma of gelijkwaardige ervaring;
  • relevante ervaring met data, projectwerking en/of digitale verandering;
  • ervaring met het begeleiden van veranderingen binnen een organisatie;
  • kennis van hoe je data goed beheert, controleert en beschikbaar maakt voor de organisatie (datagovernance);
  • ervaring met data- en BI-platformen zoals Azure, Databricks en Power BI;
  • goede affiniteit met AI en de mogelijkheden om data slimmer in te zetten;
  • leidinggevende ervaring en het talent om een team te coachen en verder te ontwikkelen.
