Wil jij je maatschappelijk inzetten bij één van de mooiste en meest innovatieve bibliotheken in Nederland? Dan gaan wij graag met jou in gesprek. Op dit moment zoeken wij versterking binnen het team in verband met het aankomende vertrek van de huidige teammanager. Daarnaast starten wij begin 2027 binnen deze afdeling met een onderzoek op welke manier wij deze afdeling toekomstbestendig in kunnen richten en op welke manier wij de samenwerking met de andere Flevolandse bibliotheek kunnen versterken. Waar kom je te werken? De Nieuwe Bibliotheek in Almere is meer dan een plek om boeken te lenen. We zijn dé huiskamer van de stad, waar bewoners komen om te lezen, leren, werken en elkaar te ontmoeten. Met ruim 1 miljoen bezoekers per jaar, 125 collega's en vele vrijwilligers, vijf vestigingen en vier biebpunten organiseren we allerlei activiteiten, zoals workshops, cursussen en evenementen over taal, digitale vaardigheden en persoonlijke ontwikkeling. Hierbij vinden we het belangrijk dat onze collectie versterkend werkt omdat de collectie een wezenlijk onderdeel is van ons als bibliotheek. Wat ga je doen? Als teammanager ben je medeverantwoordelijk voor de selectie, aanschaf en samenstelling van de collectie en het inwerken en onderhouden van media. Daarnaast ben je verantwoordelijk voor het opstellen van het collectiebeleid en ben je centraal aanspreekpunt van het team. Je geeft leiding aan een team van vijf professionals.
