In het kort: Je gaat het team Nieuwkomers aansturen, de opvang voor asielzoekers en Oekraïense ontheemden structureren en het programma zorgvuldig inbedden in de gemeentelijke organisatie, met aandacht voor teamstabiliteit, processen en bestuurlijke afstemming. Organisatie Wij zijn een 100.000 plus gemeente, onderdeel van het regionaal samenwerkingsverband Holland Rijnland en deelnemer aan de G40. In de groen-blauwe stad midden in het Groene Hart werken wij vanuit onze Sociale Visie aan bestaanszekerheid, kansengelijkheid en gezond leven in een gezonde leefomgeving. De gemeentelijke organisatie heeft een platte structuur. De organisatie wordt aangestuurd door een concerndirectie (met ieder hun eigen portefeuille) met direct daaronder teammanagers en opgavemanagers. Programma Nieuwkomers staat nog los van deze structuur en wordt per 1 januari 2027 ingebed in de organisatie. Op dit moment is het team Nieuwkomers rechtstreeks onder de directeur Sociaal Domein gepositioneerd. Proberen, experimenteren en in de praktijk ontwikkelen. Wij zijn Gemeente Alphen aan den Rijn. Bij ons is het leuk werken. We leveren toonaangevende dienstverlening en zijn een wendbare organisatie. Dat wil zeggen dat we meebewegen met de ontwikkelingen in de maatschappij en continu vernieuwen. We leren door te doen. Samenwerkingsgericht, resultaatgericht, klantgericht en veranderingsbereid zijn onze kerncompetenties. Met elkaar werken we samen voor het beste resultaat voor onze inwoners. Opdracht Het team Nieuwkomers is verantwoordelijk voor het organiseren van opvangplekken voor asielzoekers en Oekraïnse ontheemden. Het team is ontstaan in een crisissituatie ten tijde van het uitbreken van de oorlog in Oekraïne. De afgelopen tijd is ingezet op het brengen van rust en structuur in het team. Zo zijn er voor de opvang van Oekraïnse ontheemden locaties geregeld die voor de langere termijn beschikbaar zijn, zijn werkprocessen ontwikkeld en beschreven en is de administratie (financiën en contracten).
