Je geeft leiding aan een team van circa 24 professionals bestaande uit concern- en bestuurs adviseurs en medewerkers van het bestuurssecretariaat. Als teammanager ben je integraal verantwoordelijk voor het functioneren en de ontwikkeling van het team. Je zorgt voor duidelijke kaders, prioriteiten en verwachtingen en geeft professionals tegelijkertijd de ruimte om vanuit hun eigen expertise en verantwoordelijkheid hun werk uit te voeren. Je verbindt verschillende expertises binnen het team en stimuleert een professionele, open en samenwerkingsgerichte werkomgeving. Je hebt oog voor talent en ontwikkeling en weet medewerkers te coachen, te faciliteren en waar nodig is bij te sturen. Daarbij creëer je een cultuur waarin professionals elkaar weten te vinden, kennis delen en gezamenlijk verantwoordelijkheid nemen voor de kwalteit van het werk. De concernstaf opereert op het snijvlak van bestuur, organisatie en strategische advisering. Daarom begrijp je de dynamiek van een gemeentelijke organisatie en weet je effectief om te gaan met verschillende belangen, rollen en verantwoordelijkheden. Je bent een stevige en benaderbare gesprekspartner voor medewerkers, directie en bestuur. De inhoudelijke verannatwoordelijkheid voor de advisering en uitvoering ligt bij de professionals binnen het team.
