Vandaag zijn we op zoek naar een Technical Designer om ons Design Office te versterken.

Jouw verantwoordelijkheden

Binnen het Ontwerpbureau (Design Office) neem je actief deel aan de ontwerpstudies van nieuwe testfaciliteiten in samenwerking met onderzoekers en technische teams, onder toezicht van het hoofd van het bureau.

Meer specifiek zijn je belangrijkste taken tijdens een studie als volgt:

  • Neem kennis van de bestaande situatie ter plaatse en bestudeer de beschikbare documenten (3D, plannen, technische documentatie)
  • Voer een eerste concept- en haalbaarheidsstudie uit op basis van de specifieke behoeften van het project in samenwerking met de ingenieurs.
  • Stel een voorontwerp voor in de vorm van schetsen en voorlopige 3D, waarbij indien nodig een maatberekening of een specifieke zoekopdracht naar componenten / materialen wordt uitgevoerd.
  • Neem deel aan de verschillende discussies tussen belanghebbenden van het project (onderzoekers, laboratoriumteam, werkplaats, instrumentatie, leveranciers) om de haalbaarheid van het geselecteerde ontwerp te evalueren.
  • Ontwikkel dit concept vervolgens in 3D onder Catia V5 tot volledige volwassenheid, inclusief productie-, kosten- en assemblageaspecten.
  • Produceer gedetailleerde 2D-tekeningen voor productie en technische documenten die nodig zijn voor de montage en het gebruik van de installatie.
  • Technische ondersteuning bieden aan de teams die verantwoordelijk zijn voor de productie en assemblage van het ontwerp.

U zult ook, in mindere mate, moeten reageren op interne verzoeken om informatie en diensten die aan de DO worden gedaan: wijziging van plannen met betrekking tot het onderhoud van gebouwen of faciliteiten, afdrukservice, archivering en opzoeking van plannen, het maken van weergaven voor rapporten, enz..

Deze positie rapporteert aan de Mechanical Support Manager.

  • Bachelor in technisch tekenen
  • Zeer goede kennis van computerondersteund ontwerp en tekenen van complexe mechanische onderdelen
  • Functionele kennis van Catia V5 en enthousiast om te verbeteren
  • Goede materiaalsterktebasis en noties in eindige elementenberekening.
  • Inventief, georganiseerd en methodisch
  • Interpersoonlijke vaardigheden, teamspirit en communicatievaardigheden.
  • Kennis van het Frans en/of Nederlands en noties van het Engels.
