You are currently studying Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics or a related subject? Infineon Power & Sensor Systems (PSS) delivers future-oriented solutions to provide cutting-edge data transport and to make tools and systems smarter, smaller, lighter and more energy-efficient. Our team in Villach is looking forward to receiving your application!

In your new role you will:

* Assist with setup and operation of test equipment

* Support with designing PCBs for different power converters

* Collect and analyze data from experiments

* Handle troubleshooting of technical issues and identify solutions

* Create and review documentation

* Conduct simulation studies of power electronic circuits

Further Information

Type of employment: Temporary / Part-time or Full-time (flexible working hours from Monday to Friday between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m.)

Duration: min. 12 months

You successfully meet the requirements, if you are a motivated and committed student from the field of Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics or similar. You are best equipped for this task if you additionally offer:

* Strong organizational and communication skills

* Ability to work effectively in a team environment

* Good knowledge of software tools such as LTspice or SIMetrix, Plecs or MATLAB - Simulink, Altium and similar, is advantageous

* Basic mechanical and soldering skills required

* Familiarity with power electronics and measurement equipment in lab environment is a plus

* Motivation to grow into a long-term role at Infineon Technologies Austria AG (>2 year horizon)

* Fluency in English, German is a plus

This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry (full-time), employment group B for bachelor students, employment group D for master students (https://www.feei.at/wp-content/uploads/2024/04/minimum-salaries-white-collar-workers-2025.pdf).
