Ben jij een handige probleemoplosser met een passie voor mechanica? Krijg je energie van het ontwerpen, maken én installeren van tooling en fixtures die een directe impact hebben op productieprocessen? Dan is deze rol als Technical Mechanical Specialist misschien wel jouw volgende uitdaging. In deze job krijg je de vrijheid om mechanische oplossingen van A tot Z uit te werken. Van het ontwerpen in Creo tot het bewerken van onderdelen op de CNC-machine en het installeren van de uiteindelijke oplossing in productie.

Jouw verantwoordelijkheden

Als Technical Mechanical Specialist ben je verantwoordelijk voor het ontwerpen, ontwikkelen en implementeren van mechanische tooling en testfixtures die onze productie ondersteunen en verbeteren. Je neemt ownership over projecten van concept tot oplevering.

  • Je ontwerpt mechanische tooling en testfixtures voor nieuwe productintroducties (NPI-projecten).
  • Je ontwikkelt innovatieve oplossingen om bestaande productieprocessen verder te optimaliseren.
  • Je vertaalt technische uitdagingen naar praktische en efficiënte mechanische ontwerpen.
  • Je maakt en bewerkt onderdelen in ons mechanisch atelier.
  • Je werkt met een recente CNC-machine en verschillende materialen zoals o.a. aluminium en polymeren.
  • Je assembleert en test mechanische systemen en tooling.
  • Je installeert en implementeert de uiteindelijke oplossingen in productie.
  • Je vraagt offertes aan bij externe leveranciers en vergelijkt technische voorstellen wanneer onderdelen worden uitbesteed.
  • Je ondersteunt collega's bij kleinere mechanische projecten en technische uitdagingen.
  • Je rapporteert aan de Industrialisation Manager.

Je steekt graag de handen uit de mouwen en haalt energie uit het bedenken van slimme technische oplossingen.

  • Je beschikt over een bachelor Mechanica of bent gelijkwaardig door ervaring.
  • Je hebt ervaring met 3D CAD-ontwerp in Creo Parametric.
  • Je hebt ervaring in CNC-machinebediening.
  • Je kan zelfstandig technische tekeningen uitwerken en deze omzetten naar een werkende oplossing.
  • Je werkt nauwkeurig en hebt oog voor kwaliteit.
  • Je houdt ervan om zowel achter de computer als in de mechanical workshop actief te zijn.
  • Je bent communicatief sterk en werkt als teamplayer vlot samen met verschillende interne stakeholders.
  • Als je vertrouwt bent met CAM-software als Fusion en 3 D printing zijn dit mooie troeven.
  • Idealiter beschik je over een basiskennis elektronica bv. voor elektronische aansturingen.
  • Ook je kennis van Windchill is een pluspunt.
  • Je neemt graag ownership over je projecten.
  • Je bent flexibel ingesteld om te schakelen tussen verschillende opdrachten en prioriteiten.
