Wat houdt de functie in? Als Technical Product Manager ben je verantwoordelijk voor het definiëren en begeleiden van producten gedurende het ontwikkelingsproces. Je vormt de brug tussen productvisie en technische uitvoering en zorgt ervoor dat ideeën worden vertaald naar duidelijke vereisten, functies en specificaties, en dat de ontwikkeling in lijn blijft met de beoogde productscope. Je werkt nauw samen met R&D, application engineering en andere stakeholders.

Jouw verantwoordelijkheden:

  • Productideeën en vereisten vertalen naar duidelijke specificaties, functies en use cases
  • Eigenaarschap nemen over de productdefinitie binnen ontwikkelingsprojecten (scope, prioriteiten, afwegingen)
  • Nauw samenwerken met engineeringteams om afstemming te garanderen tussen concept, ontwerp en implementatie
  • Fungeren als centraal aanspreekpunt voor afstemming tussen product-, engineering- en applicationteams
  • Productvereisten, acceptatiecriteria en functioneel gedrag definiëren en valideren
  • Besluitvorming ondersteunen gedurende het ontwikkelingsproces, met een balans tussen prestaties, kost en haalbaarheid
  • Ondersteunen bij het opstellen en valideren van productgerelateerde data in ERP/PLM-systemen, in samenwerking met Product Operations
  • Bijdragen aan continue productverbetering op basis van feedback en productprestaties

Je focus ligt op het definiëren van het juiste product en ervoor zorgen dat dit correct wordt vertaald naar de ontwikkeling.

Deze rol biedt de mogelijkheid om je impact binnen het productcreatieproces geleidelijk uit te breiden, met blootstelling aan bredere productaspecten zoals marktcontext, positionering en de langetermijnontwikkeling van het product.

  • Bachelor- of masterdiploma in Engineering, Elektronica of een gerelateerd vakgebied
  • Ervaring in een technische rol (R&D, application engineering, system engineering of gelijkaardig)
  • Sterk vermogen om technische concepten te vertalen naar gestructureerde productdefinities
  • Affiniteit met audio, DSP of AV-systemen is een sterke troef
  • Gestructureerd, analytisch en in staat om beslissingen te nemen in complexe omgevingen
  • Sterke communicatieve vaardigheden en het vermogen om cross-functioneel samen te werken
  • Proactieve mindset met zin voor eigenaarschap en verantwoordelijkheid
