The posting

Als Technical Safety Engineer begeleid je industriële technische projecten op het vlak van veiligheid. Dat doe je van de eerste conceptfase tot en met de uitvoering en oplevering bij de klant.

Concreet bestaat het takenpakket uit:

  • Veiligheidsvraagstukken analyseren binnen domeinen zoals elektriciteit, mechanica, pneumatica en hydraulica.
  • Technische oplossingen uitwerken rond onder meer afschermingen, veiligheidskringen, detectiesystemen, ATEX, chemische en thermische veiligheid en ergonomie.
  • Project Engineers, Project Managers, techniekers en klanten adviseren over technische veiligheid.
  • De gebruikte materialen en de correcte uitvoering van veiligheidsmaatregelen opvolgen.
  • Veiligheidscomponenten testen en controleren.
  • Risico-inventarisaties en risico-evaluaties opstellen volgens EN ISO 12100.
  • Veiligheidsmatrices uitwerken op basis van overleg met engineering en andere betrokken partijen.
  • Gebruiksaanwijzingen en technische documentatie opmaken voor gerealiseerde projecten.
  • EG-verklaringen van overeenstemming, EU-conformiteitsverklaringen en inbouwverklaringen voorbereiden.
  • Wetgeving en normen rond machineveiligheid en machinerichtlijnen nauwgezet opvolgen.
  • Regelmatig overleggen met klanten en interne technische teams om tot een veilige en haalbare oplossing te komen.

Voor deze functie zoeken we iemand met een brede technische achtergrond en een sterke interesse in veiligheid.

  • Masterdiploma in een technische richting
  • Goede kennis van elektriciteit, mechanica en pneumatica
  • Kennis van hydraulica is mooi meegenomen
  • Sterke analytische vaardigheden en oog voor technische details
  • In staat om normen, regelgeving en juridische teksten correct te interpreteren
  • Technische informatie op een duidelijke en begrijpelijke manier kunnen overbrengen aan klanten en collega’s
  • Zowel zelfstandig als in team vlot kunnen werken
  • Leergierig en bereid om technische kennis voortdurend verder uit te bouwen
  • Goede kennis van Microsoft Office en AutoCAD
  • Ervaring met SolidWorks vormt een pluspunt
  • Zeer goede kennis van het Nederlands en Engels. Frans of Duits is een extra troef
  • Een aanvullende opleiding als preventieadviseur is mooi meegenomen
  • Rijbewijs B en bereidheid om occasioneel buitenlandse verplaatsingen te maken
