The posting

Voor onze overkoepelende afdeling Safety Engineering kijken we uit naar een technical safety engineer, die ons team in Merelbeke komt versterken.

Jouw verantwoordelijkheden

Je staat in voor het begeleiden van industriële technische projecten (machinebouw, installaties, …) op veiligheidstechnisch vlak, vanaf de conceptuele fase tot de uitvoering en oplevering bij de klant:

  • oplossingen zoeken voor veiligheidsproblemen op verschillende domeinen (elektriciteit, mechanica, pneumatica, hydraulica, …): mechanische afschermingssystemen, elektrische veiligheidskringen, detectiesystemen, chemische en thermische veiligheid, ATEX, ergonomie, …
  • collega’s (project engineers, project managers, techniekers, …) en klanten adviseren.
  • opvolgen van de gebruikte materialen, de correcte uitvoering, …
  • testen van veiligheidscomponenten
  • opmaken van risico-inventarisaties en risico-evaluaties (volgens de EN ISO 12100), veiligheidsmatrices, … o.b.v. veiligheidsvergaderingen met engineering.
  • opstellen van gebruiksaanwijzingen en technische documentatie van gerealiseerde projecten
  • opstellen van EG verklaring van overeenstemming, EU conformiteitsverklaring – inbouwverklaring
  • continue opvolging van de wetgeving inzake machinerichtlijnen, …

Profiel

  • Je hebt een Master in technische wetenschappen en hebt interesse in veiligheid.
  • Kennis van elektriciteit, mechanica en pneumatica is een must; kennis van hydraulica is een pluspunt.
  • Je bezit de nodige communicatieve vaardigheden (overleg met de project engineer en de klant, technisch advies verstaanbaar overbrengen, …).
  • Begrijpend lezen: je bent in staat om de essentie uit teksten te halen zonder details uit het oog te verliezen. Juridische teksten schrikken je niet af.
  • Je kan zowel zelfstandig als in team werken en leert graag veel bij.
  • Je kan vlot overweg met het Office pakket, AutoCAD; SolidWorks is een pluspunt.
  • Goede kennis Nederlands en Engels (Frans of Duits is een plus).
  • Een aanvullende vorming van preventieadviseur is een troef.
  • Je bent in het bezit van rijbewijs B en bent bereid tot buitenlandse verplaatsingen.
