The posting

Als Technical Sales Engineer werk je samen met klanten aan technische oplossingen op maat. Je vertaalt hun behoeften naar een technisch en budgettair haalbaar concept, werkt voorstellen en offertes uit en bespreekt deze met de klant. Daarbij combineer je jouw technische achtergrond met klantencontact en werk je nauw samen met het ontwerpteam.

Jouw rol:

  • analyseren van technische behoeften van klanten en samen zoeken naar de meest geschikte oplossing
  • mee bepalen en uitwerken van nieuwe machineconcepten rekening houdend met technische en budgettaire vereisten
  • opmaken en bespreken van technische voorstellen en offertes
  • onderhandelen met klanten over de verdere overeenkomst
  • fungeren als technisch en commercieel aanspreekpunt voor een aantal klanten
  • regelmatig overleggen met klanten en hun vragen en projecten opvolgen
  • nauw samenwerken met collega's van het ontwerpteam
  • indien gewenst projecten verder opvolgen vanaf het ontwerp tot de indienstname bij de klant
  • je beschikt minimaal over een diploma industrieel ingenieur elektromechanica
  • je hebt minstens 5 jaar relevante werkervaring
  • je hebt een sterke interesse in machinebouw en zoekt graag samen met klanten naar technisch haalbare oplossingen
  • je combineert technisch inzicht met een klantgerichte en commerciële aanpak
  • je werkt graag in team, maar kan ook zelfstandig verantwoordelijkheid opnemen
  • kennis van CAD-software is een pluspunt
  • naast het Nederlands heb je een goede kennis van het Engels; kennis van Frans en/of Duits is een pluspunt
