Onze opdrachtgever, uit regio Kortrijk, is een groeiende KMO die wereldwijd geïntegreerde oplossingen levert binnen de kunststofsector. Het bedrijf realiseert complexe projecten van A tot Z, in sectoren zoals bouwmachines, openbaar vervoer, landbouwvoertuigen en specifieke industriële toepassingen. Projecten kunnen oplopen tot meer dan 1 miljoen euro, en de ambitie is om binnen enkele jaren door te groeien naar grotere projectvolumes tot 3 à 4 miljoen euro. Hiervoor gaan ze op zoek naar een Technical Sales Engineer.

Dankzij hun technische ervaring, hoogwaardige productiesite en directe communicatie zijn ze een gevestigde waarde in hun nichemarkt. De sfeer bij deze speler is no-nonsense en hands-on, typisch voor een West-Vlaams bedrijf. Je komt terecht in een context waar je vertrouwen krijgt, zelfstandig werkt en waar je als enige sales professional in het team een reëel verschil maakt!

Wat houdt de job in?

  • Je identificeert en benadert actief nieuwe klanten binnen sectoren als machinebouw en industriële voertuigen, prospectie maakt dus een groot deel uit van jouw takenpakket
  • Verder analyseer je klantbehoeften en werk je technische oplossingen uit in samenwerking met interne teams
  • Bovendien verzorg je technische adviezen en offertes voor nieuwe projecten
  • Je bepaalt je eigen agenda en plant gemiddeld 3 à 4 dagen per maand (20%) bezoeken in het buitenland (voornamelijk Europa)
  • Tot slot word je het vaste aanspreekpunt voor één grote key account binnen een internationale groep
  • Je behaalde een technisch bachelor- of masterdiploma (elektromechanica), of beschikt over gelijkwaardige ervaring
  • Bovendien heb je minstens drie jaar ervaring in technische sales of aankoop
  • Technische gesprekken met ingenieurs schrikken je niet af; je denkt actief mee en reikt doordachte oplossingen aan
  • Je communiceert vlot in het Nederlands, Engels en Frans en bent bereid je tot 20% (inter)nationaal te verplaatsen
