Mechanisch sterk én goed in het helder uitleggen van techniek? Als Technical Writer vertaal je complexe machinebouw naar duidelijke technische documentatie en montagehandleidingen. Een interessante combinatie van engineering, schrijven en nauwkeurig technisch inzicht.

Wat ga je doen?

Je werkt binnen een innovatieve machinebouwer aan de documentatie van hoogtechnologische machines. Om iets goed te kunnen uitleggen, moet je natuurlijk eerst begrijpen hoe het werkt. Daarom verdiep je je grondig in de machines en werk je nauw samen met Design Engineers en andere technische experts.

• Je stelt technische documentatie en montagehandleidingen op

• Je verdiept je in de mechanische werking en opbouw van machines

• Je vertaalt complexe technische informatie naar heldere instructies

• Je verwerkt kennis rond fijne mechaniek en toleranties correct in de documentatie

• Je herschrijft en verbetert bestaande handleidingen

• Je zorgt dat technische informatie duidelijk, logisch en consequent wordt opgebouwd

• Je werkt mee aan een uniforme structuur en template voor technische documentatie

• Je stemt inhoud rechtstreeks af met engineers en technische experts

Dit is dus geen puur redactionele functie. Je moet technisch voldoende sterk zijn om met engineers mee te kunnen denken en vervolgens de vertaalslag te maken naar documentatie die iemand anders correct kan gebruiken.

• Je begrijpt fijne mechaniek en toleranties

• Je hebt ervaring met technische documentatie of het opstellen van handleidingen

• Je kunt complexe techniek duidelijk en gestructureerd uitleggen

• Je schrijft uitstekend in het Engels

• Je communiceert vlot met engineers en andere technische collega's

• Je kunt technische informatie kritisch verwerken en structureren
