Ben jij iemand die liever dingen fixt dan erover praat? (Bijna) afgestudeerd en klaar om met de meest geavanceerde hightech machines te werken — niet gewoon achter een laptop? Dan is imec’s Training Program jouw next move!

Je zal actief meedraaien in onze semiconductor cleanroom in Leuven, waar de chiptechnologie van de toekomst wordt ontwikkeld. En ja — dat gebeurt 24/7.

What you will do

In dit Training Program leer je alles on the job. Geen uren theorie, maar meteen meedraaien in een hightech omgeving, mét begeleiding van ervaren technici, tool owners en engineers.

De cleanroom is het kloppend hart van imec. Hier worden innovaties gebouwd voor IT, gezondheidszorg en energie — en jij houdt de tools draaiende.

Stap voor stap krijg je meer verantwoordelijkheid:

  • Je voert preventief onderhoud en technische checks uit op geavanceerde machines.
  • Je spoort storingen op en lost ze mee op.
  • Je helpt bij herstellingen en installaties.
  • Je overlegt met tool owners over wat beter kan.
  • Je deelt verbeterideeën — want jouw input telt.

Kortom: je leert hoe hightech écht werkt, van binnenuit.

Shiftwerk

Onze cleanroom draait altijd door, dus jij ook — in een 24/7 shiftenstelsel:

  • Week X: vroege shift (ma–vr)
  • Week X+1: nachtshift (ma–vr)
  • Week X+2: late shift (ma–wo), recuperatie (do–vr), weekend = 12u-shiften
  • Week X+3: recuperatie (ma–wo), late shift (do–vr)

Geen zorgen: dit systeem geeft ook meer vrije dagen en recuperatie.

Who you are

Je hoeft niet alles al te kunnen. Goesting om te leren is belangrijker dan een perfect cv.

Je past goed als je:

  • In je 7de specialisatiejaar, graduaat of professionele bachelor zit (of bijna afstudeert) in Elektromechanica, Elektronica, Elektriciteit, Mechanica…
  • Graag praktisch bezig bent en niet bang bent om je handen vuil te maken.
  • Interesse hebt in technologie, onderhoud en machines, specifiek rond pneumatica, motoren, pompen, elektronica.
  • Veiligheid belangrijk vindt en oog hebt voor detail.
  • Graag samenwerkt en dingen elke dag een beetje beter wil maken.
  • Je oké voelt in een internationale omgeving waar Engels de werktaal is.
