ArcelorMittal Belgium Recycling (AMBeR) is een zusterbedrijf van ArcelorMittal Belgium. Met een sterke focus op het circulair gebruik van grondstoffen streven we ernaar om een positieve impact te hebben op zowel het milieu als de samenleving. Onze activiteiten omvatten het verzamelen, verwerken en recyclen van diverse soorten schroot en andere materialen zoals slakken, waardoor we bijdragen aan het verminderen van afval en het behoud van kostbare natuurlijke hulpbronnen.

Voor onze dienstverlening aan ArcelorMittal Belgium hebben wij een indrukwekkende voertuigenvloot (denk aan wielladers, slag pot carriers, kranen, dumper trucks, …) ter beschikking en werken wij met een 130-tal voertuigoperatoren en een 30-tal onderhoudstechniekers op de terreinen van ArcelorMittal in Gent.

Het spreekt voor zich dat veiligheid bij ons op nummer 1 staat. Met een sterke toewijding aan veiligheid, welzijn, milieu en kwaliteit streven we naar een positieve impact op zowel onze werknemers als onze buren en omgeving.

Om onze technische dienst verder te ondersteunen zijn we op zoek naar gedreven techniekers om in 3 ploegen te werken, van maandag tem vrijdag.

Functieomschrijving:

Als technieker bij ArcelorMittal Belgium Recycling kom je te werken in een recyclage- en transportbedrijf met professionele machines; Terbergs, kranen, dumpers,..

Samen met je team, onder begeleiding van de supervisor, sta je in voor het onderhoud en de herstellingen van ons wagenpark.

Je komt hierbij dagelijks in aanraking met alle facetten van technieken, zoals elektriciteit, mechanica, aandrijftechniek, pneumatica en hydraulica.

Je taken omvatten onder andere:

- Diagnose grondig en correct stellen

- Klein en groot onderhoud uitvoeren volgens de voorgeschreven werkinstructies

- Mechanische herstellingen uitvoeren

- Veilig werken

- Actief bijdragen tot orde en netheid

- Afleveren van kwalitatieve service

- Continuïteit van productie garanderen
