The posting

Werk je graag met techniek en krijg je voldoening wanneer je een storing snel opgelost krijgt? Dan wacht er in de haven een job met heel wat afwisseling op je. Van elektromechanisch onderhoud aan grote kranen tot interventies aan rollend materieel: je werkt elke dag aan machines die letterlijk niet mogen stilvallen.

Buitenwerk, techniek en werken op hoogte schrikken je niet af? Dan zit je hier goed.

Wat ga je doen? Als onderhoudstechnieker zorg je ervoor dat het rollend materieel en de havenkranen technisch in orde blijven.

Je staat onder andere in voor:

  • elektromechanisch onderhoud en inspecties van kaaikranen en rollend materieel;
  • opsporen en oplossen van technische storingen;
  • herstellingen aan elektrische circuits, hydraulica, pneumatica en remsystemen;
  • werken aan hijsinstallaties en kraancomponenten;
  • (de)monteren en vervangen van onderdelen;
  • uitvoeren van interventies zodat een defecte kraan zo snel mogelijk opnieuw operationeel is;
  • meewerken aan zowel kleine als grotere technische herstellingen;
  • veilig uitvoeren van onderhoudswerken op hoogte en in openlucht.

Je werkt samen met collega's en krijgt de nodige opleidingen om je technische kennis verder uit te bouwen.

Waar ga je werken? Je komt terecht bij een internationale speler in containertransport, maar de vestiging in Zeebrugge behoudt een sterk familiaal karakter. Je werkt in een technisch team waar collega's elkaar helpen en waar veel bespreekbaar is.

Je kan aan de slag binnen twee technische teams: één dat instaat voor het rollend materieel en één voor de grote havenkranen. Je krijgt de kans om beide facetten te leren kennen en wordt zoveel mogelijk ingezet op de technische taken die jou het beste liggen. Je hebt een technische achtergrond en vooral een goede kennis van elektriciteit. Daarnaast heb je bij voorkeur ervaring met elektromechanica, hydraulica en pneumatica.

Verder:

  • heb je een goed technisch inzicht;
  • werk je graag zelfstandig, maar functioneer je ook goed in team;
  • ben je verantwoordelijk en betrouwbaar;
  • werk je veilig en nauwkeurig;
  • heb je geen hoogtevrees;
  • werk je graag buiten, ook wanneer het weer wat minder meezit;
  • ben je leergierig en wil je je technische kennis verder uitbreiden;
  • is ervaring met lassen of PLC's een mooie troef;
  • ben je bereid om in een volcontinu systeem te werken.
