Deze producent van kunststofverpakkingen maakt deel uit van een internationale groep, actief op wereldniveau. Toch heerst er op de site nabij Gent een heel andere sfeer: eentje waar je iedereen bij naam kent, waar overleg snel en direct verloopt, en waar technische mensen het verschil maken.

Er wordt gewerkt met technieken zoals spuitgieten en thermoforming voor het vervaardigen van kunststofonderdelen die hun toepassing vinden in alledaagse verpakkingen binnen de voedings-, verzorgings- en huishoudsector. Duurzaamheid is hier geen hol begrip. Er wordt volop ingezet op gerecycleerd materiaal en lichtgewicht verpakkingen, met oog voor gebruiksgemak én milieu.

Je komt terecht in een technische omgeving waar rechttoe-rechtaan communicatie de standaard is, waar collega’s hun werk kennen, en waar ondersteuning vanuit onderhoud, logistiek en planning nooit ver weg is.

Wat houdt de job in?

  • Jij zorgt ervoor dat matrijzen optimaal functioneren en snel beschikbaar zijn voor productie
  • Je voert zelfstandig matrijswissels en herstellingen uit in de werkplaats
  • Preventief onderhoud aan matrijzen valt volledig onder jouw verantwoordelijkheid
  • Je houdt je bezig met het analyseren van defecten en stelt verbeteracties voor
  • Af en toe ondersteun je collega’s bij het opstarten van nieuwe producties of testen van matrijzen
  • Je hebt een technisch diploma richting mechanica, elektromechanica of gelijkwaardig door ervaring
  • Ervaring met matrijzenbouw of matrijzenonderhoud is een grote troef
  • Je kan zelfstandig werken en leest vlot technische plannen of schema’s
