Heb je een technische achtergrond en werk je graag praktisch én administratief?

Een toonaangevende speler in de intermodale logistiek zoekt een nieuwe administration Officer voor haar site in de regio Brugge. Deze internationale groep werd in de jaren '80 opgericht als familiebedrijf en groeide intussen uit tot een vaste waarde in de supply chain-sector, met meer dan 660 medewerkers verspreid over 7 landen.

De onderneming biedt geïntegreerde transportoplossingen aan klanten in heel Europa, met een sterke focus op verkeer tussen het Verenigd Koninkrijk, Ierland en het Europese vasteland. Ze combineren daarbij weg-, spoor- en zeetransport in een evenwichtige verhouding.

Op de site nabij Brugge werkt een team van meer dan 40 techniekers en lassers aan het onderhoud van een uitgebreide vloot: trekkers, chassis, containers en trailers. Als Equipment Officer maak je deel uit van een klein bediendenteam, dat deze technische operaties administratief en praktisch ondersteunt.

Je komt terecht in een stabiel en toekomstgericht bedrijf dat inzet op efficiëntie, duurzaamheid en samenwerking, en waar doorgroeien geen hol begrip is: de huidige Equipment Officer begon ooit op de planning en mag nu genieten van een welverdiend pensioen.

Wat houdt de job in?

  • Jij zorgt voor de verwerking en opvolging van schademeldingen aan chassis, trekkers en ander rollend materieel
  • Je coördineert depannages, zowel met eigen techniekers als met externe partners in binnen- en buitenland
  • Je kijkt bij defecten in Frankrijk of elders snel en efficiënt welke herstellers beschikbaar zijn in de buurt
  • Jij volgt het materieel op en regelt dat alles tijdig aanwezig is
  • Je werkt zelfstandig en weet je taken logisch te organiseren en te prioriteren
  • Ervaring met chassis, trailers of containers is een grote troef of je hebt er een sterke technische interesse in
  • Je spreekt occasioneel klanten of chauffeurs aan het loket aan
  • Je bent bereid om ook op het terrein een handje toe te steken wanneer nodig
  • Dagelijks werk je aan de computer voor administratie, opvolging en rapportage
  • Bij voorkeur genoot je een Bacheloropleiding of gelijkwaardig denkniveau met een technische achtergrond, bijvoorbeeld automechanica
  • Je bent praktisch ingesteld, communiceert vlot en werkt graag zelfstandig
  • Ervaring met transportplanning of kennis van de sector is een sterke plus
