Als Technisch Mecanicien werk je elke dag met machines en voertuigen die echt het verschil maken op de werkvloer. Je onderhoudt en herstelt onder andere kranen, bulldozers, vrachtwagens en kleiner materieel. Je spoort storingen op, voert herstellingen uit en zorgt ervoor dat machines veilig en betrouwbaar opnieuw aan het werk kunnen. Je krijgt een gevarieerd takenpakket, maar tegelijk ook de nodige structuur en ondersteuning. Je werkt zelfstandig waar het kan en overlegt met collega’s wanneer dat nodig is. Zo krijg je de ruimte om jouw technische kennis te gebruiken én verder uit te bouwen.

Wat ga je doen?

  • Je staat in voor het onderhoud en de herstellingen van groot en klein materieel en je werkt aan kranen, bulldozers, vrachtwagens, trilplaten, stampers en ander werfmaterieel
  • Je zoekt technische storingen uit en bepaalt wat nodig is om ze op te lossen en je voert preventief onderhoud uit om stilstanden zoveel mogelijk te voorkomen
  • Je vervangt onderdelen en voert mechanische herstellingen uit en je controleert na een herstelling of de machine opnieuw veilig en correct werkt
  • Je denkt mee over praktische verbeteringen en duurzame oplossingen en je houdt je werkplek ordelijk en volgt je werkzaamheden correct op

Waar ga je werken? Je gaat aan de slag bij een stabiel aannemersbedrijf dat actief is binnen bouw en infrastructuur. Het machinepark vormt een belangrijk onderdeel van de dagelijkse werking: goed onderhouden materieel zorgt er namelijk voor dat de collega’s op de werven hun werk vlot kunnen uitvoeren. Je komt terecht in een nuchtere en toegankelijke werkomgeving waar mensen elkaar helpen en waar vakkennis gewaardeerd wordt. Er wordt niet verwacht dat je alles vanaf dag één kent. Je krijgt de nodige ondersteuning om je taken goed uit te voeren en krijgt tegelijk de ruimte om steeds zelfstandiger te werken. Als mecanicien heb je een zichtbare rol binnen het geheel. Jij zorgt ervoor dat machines blijven draaien, storingen snel worden aangepakt en collega’s met betrouwbaar materiaal aan de slag kunnen.

  • Je hebt een technische opleiding in mechanica gevolgd of hebt gelijkwaardige ervaring opgebouwd en je werkt graag met machines en hebt een sterke interesse in techniek
  • Je kunt technische problemen zelfstandig analyseren en praktisch aanpakken, ervaring met bouwmachines, vrachtwagens, hydraulica of zwaar materieel is mooi meegenomen
  • Je bent iemand die graag de handen uit de mouwen steekt en verantwoordelijkheid neemt voor zijn werk
