Stad Dendermonde is op zoek naar een technisch medewerker openbaar domein en organiseert een aanwervingsexamen voor deze voltijdse contractuele functie van onbepaalde duur. Er wordt een wervingsreserve aangelegd met een geldigheidsduur van 1 jaar (mogelijk verlengbaar).

Plaats in de organisatie

Als medewerker binnen het team wegen en waterlopen uitvoering werk je mee aan het onderhoud en de vernieuwing van het openbaar domein in Dendermonde. Je springt flexibel bij waar nodig, ook bij andere teams.

Rol in de organisatie

— Herstellen en aanleggen van voetpaden

— Kleine herstellingen uitvoeren aan (asfalt)wegen

— Ontstoppingswerken aan de openbare riolering

— Straatmeubilair plaatsen

— Zelfstandig diagnoses bij wegenwerken stellen

— Zorgen voor een kwalitatief eindresultaat

— Oog voor veiligheid en correcte signalisatie tijdens de werken

— Hoeveelheden inschatten voor uit te voeren werken

— Rapporteren aan de ploegbaas

— Praktische problemen oplossen op het terrein

— Aanspreekpunt voor burgers zijn tijdens de werken

De ideale kandidaat

Je hebt al enige praktijkervaring bij verhardingen op het openbaar domein herstellen en/of aanleggen. Je bent flexibel inzetbaar en levert ook onder tijdsdruk kwaliteitsvol werk af. Werken buiten de gewone uren schrik je niet af, bijvoorbeeld tijdens evenementen zoals Katuit of in de winterdienst. Je bent collegiaal en een echte teamspeler. Je beschikt minstens over een rijbewijs B, een rijbewijs C is een grote troef. Tot slot ben je vriendelijk, beleefd en correct in je omgang met burgers.

  • Je geniet de burgerlijke en politieke rechten en je vertoont een gedrag dat in overeenstemming is met de eisen van de functie. Dit toon je aan via een uittreksel uit het strafregister dat niet ouder is dan 3 maand bij indiensttreding. Indien blijkt uit het uittreksel dat de voorgeschreven voorwaarden niet vervuld zijn, dan kun je geen beroep maken op het feit dat je tot het examen werd toegelaten.
  • Je bent medisch geschikt voor het uitoefenen van de functie, dit blijkt uit een medisch onderzoek bij indiensttreding.
  • Je slaagt voor de selectieprocedure.
  • Je voldoet aan de taalvoorwaarden (volgens de wetten op het gebruik van talen in bestuurszaken).
  • Je bent toegelaten tot het wettige verblijf in België en je hebt een algemene toegang tot de arbeidsmarkt.
