Je leert hier zelfstandig werken met hightech CNC-machines, bij een werkgever die investeert in vakmanschap. Over het werk Je werkt met CNC-gestuurde plaatwerkmachines die metalen platen tot op de tiende millimeter nauwkeurig bewerken. In het begin leer je de machines bedienen en instellen; naarmate je groeit ga je ook zelfstandig programmeren. Tijdens het productieproces houd je de machine in de gaten en controleer je de eerste producten. Voldoen ze niet aan de tolerantie? Dan stel je het programma of de instelling bij. Daarnaast doe je klein dagelijks onderhoud en let je op slijtage, zodat de machine blijft draaien zoals het hoort. Je werkt nauw samen met werkvoorbereiding en logistiek en denkt mee over slimmere werkmethodes. Techniek is voor jou geen baan maar interesse: je wilt weten hoe iets werkt, niet alleen dat het werkt.
