Wil jij als technisch operator aan de slag in een internationale productieomgeving waar geen dag hetzelfde is?

Onze klant is een familiaal tabaksbedrijf waar momenteel de derde generatie zich klaarstoomt. Vanuit hun productiesite in de omgeving van Gent verwerken ze tabak van grondstof tot eindproduct en verzorgen ze de volledige verpakking voor klanten wereldwijd. Het bedrijf telt 40 tot 45 medewerkers en werkt het grootste deel van het jaar in drie ploegen. De sfeer is nuchter en hands-on. Mensen die hier starten, blijven er vaak jarenlang.

Als technisch operator ben je verantwoordelijk voor meerdere machines om parameters in te stellen, op te volgen & mee te helpen inpakken. Je krijgt veel autonomie en wordt daar ook rijkelijk voor vergoed.

Wat houdt de job in?

  • Als technisch operator ben je verantwoordelijk voor het bedienen en bewaken van de pouchmachines, die tot 120 stuks per minuut verwerken
  • Bovendien zorg je voor het aanvullen van tabak, het vervangen van etikettenrollen, inktrollen en folies, zodat de lijn continu doorloopt
  • Binnen jouw rol werk je met een geavanceerd track-and-trace systeem met laserprinters en camera's. Je begrijpt het proces en lost storingen zelfstandig op
  • Samen met je collega's draag je bij aan een vlotte productieplanning door kleine technische ingrepen op de bundelaar uit te voeren met standaard handgereedschap
  • Tot slot pak je indien nodig ook in wanneer de situatie dat vraagt. Veelzijdigheid is hier een troef
  • Een technische opleiding of gelijkwaardige praktijkervaring geeft je een vliegende start als technisch operator
  • Bij voorkeur heb je al ervaring opgedaan in een productie- of verpakkingsomgeving, al is dit geen absolute vereiste
  • Technisch inzicht is essentieel — je begrijpt hoe machines werken, herkent foutmeldingen en weet waar je moet ingrijpen; kennis van eenvoudige mechanische handelingen is een plus
  • Nederlands is vereist omwille van veiligheidsvoorschriften; kennis van het Frans is een voordeel gezien de internationale teamsamenstelling
