Onze klant is een internationale specialist in de recyclage van hoogwaardige producten. Met vestigingen in verschillende Europese landen, ongeveer 150 tal medewerkers en een jaarlijkse productie van meer dan 100.000 ton zinklegeringen, speelt de organisatie een belangrijke rol binnen de circulaire metaalindustrie.

Door waardevolle zinkstromen te recycleren en opnieuw te verwerken tot hoogwaardige grondstoffen, staat duurzaamheid centraal in de dagelijkse werking. Tegelijk wordt sterk geïnvesteerd in nieuwe technologieën en innovatieve productieprocessen.

De afdeling waarin je terechtkomt, is één van de nieuwste onderdelen van de site en is volop in ontwikkeling. Je werkt er met zeer recente en grotendeels geautomatiseerde sorteermachines die verschillende metalen in meerdere stappen van elkaar scheiden. Het doel? Een zo zuiver mogelijke selectie bekomen die vervolgens opnieuw kan worden ingezet in het productieproces. Je komt dus terecht in een moderne en unieke omgeving waar technologie, duurzaamheid en hands-on werk samenkomen. Voor iemand die graag met machines werkt, verantwoordelijkheid neemt en technische problemen niet uit de weg gaat, is dit een bijzonder interessante omgeving.

Als Operator Gieterij ben jij verantwoordelijk voor het vlot functioneren van de sorteerlijn. Je bewaakt het volledige proces, bedient verschillende machines en grijpt in wanneer er een storing of alarm optreedt.

Wat houdt de job in?

  • De verschillende productiemachines T1, G1 en R1 bedienen en opvolgen
  • Het geautomatiseerde sorteerproces van A tot Z bewaken
  • Productstromen controleren en ervoor zorgen dat de juiste materialen correct worden verwerkt
  • Storingen en machinealarmen analyseren en bij kleinere problemen zelf ingrijpen
  • Inkomende en uitgaande producten correct coderen en registreren
  • Basisonderhoud uitvoeren aan de machines en installaties
  • Werken met interne productcodes en verschillende materiaalstromen correct herkennen
  • De werking van de installatie nauwlettend opvolgen en afwijkingen tijdig signaleren
  • De productieruimte netjes en georganiseerd houden volgens de 5S-methode
  • Veiligheids-, kwaliteits- en milieuvoorschriften strikt naleven
  • Meedenken over verbeteringen binnen het productie- en sorteerproces
  • Bij voorkeur genoot je een technische opleiding en kan je terugkijken op enkele jaren ervaring binnen een rol als technisch operator
  • Basiskennis van non-ferrometalen is een mooie troef
  • Ervaring met een heftruck, wiellader en/of hoogwerker is meegenomen
  • Je bent leergierig en staat open om nieuwe machines en technieken aan te leren
  • Sterke Nederlandse talenkennis omwille van veiligheidsvoorschriften
