Als technisch specialist omgevingshinder lever je, vanuit je eigen technische en wetenschappelijke expertise, een onderbouwde bijdrage aan het Vlaamse beleid rond omgevingshinder. Je ondersteunt beleidsontwikkeling en -uitvoering via onderzoek, data‑analyse, monitoring en evaluatie, met als doel betrouwbare specialistische kennis aan te reiken die bijdraagt aan bredere projecten en beleidsopdrachten.

Je werkt mee aan de uitwerking en uitvoering van het beleid inzake omgevingslawaai en niet-ioniserende straling, in nauwe samenwerking met collega‑experten binnen het Departement Omgeving en met externe partners. Daarbij neem je onder meer volgende taken op:

  • Je analyseert en interpreteert objectieve en subjectieve hinderdata, opgebouwd via meetnetten, meetcampagnes, modelleringen, burgerwetenschap en bevragingen.
  • Je draagt bij aan de uitvoering van de Europese richtlijn omgevingslawaai (2002/49/EG), inclusief de technische onderbouwing van strategische geluidskaarten en actieplannen.
  • Je levert inhoudelijke expertise binnen het Balanced Approach‑proces voor de luchthaven Brussel‑Nationaal, met aandacht voor operationele luchtvaartprocedures, geluidsimpactanalyses, interconnectiviteit en kosteneffectiviteitsstudies.
  • Je ondersteunt het beleid inzake niet‑ioniserende straling, waaronder de uitrol van meetnetten voor elektromagnetische velden en radiofrequente straling.
  • Je werkt mee aan de opmaak van regelgeving, actieplannen, beoordelingskaders, leidraden en codes van goede praktijk rond omgevingshinder.
  • Je adviseert uitvoerende afdelingen en lokale overheden over hinderthema’s en behandelt specifieke dossiers, zoals convenanten voor hoogspanningsverbindingen en conformiteitsattesten voor zendantennes.

Je maakt deel uit van het team Omgevingshinder en krijgt de ruimte om je verder te ontwikkelen tot een erkend expert binnen een maatschappelijk relevante en technisch uitdagende beleidscontext.
