The posting

EDR Antwerp Shipyard is de grootste scheepswerf van België, gespecialiseerd in scheepsonderhoud en -herstellingen, rompbehandeling en maritieme constructies. Onze uitdagende activiteiten vragen om bekwame en gemotiveerde medewerkers. Jaarlijks worden meer dan 150 schepen onderhouden en hersteld op onze werf in Antwerpen, terwijl projecten wereldwijd aan boord van schepen worden uitgevoerd.

Als technisch aankoper ben je verantwoordelijjk voor het volledige aankoopproces. Een zeer dynamische functie met veel afwisseling!

Hoe ziet jouw dag eruit?

  • Je koopt onderdelen en materialen aan die worden gebruikt voor het herstellen van schepen. Hierbij werk je volgens vaste aankoopprocessen, maar ga je ook actief op zoek naar de juiste producten via andere kanalen.
  • Verkoop maakt eveneens deel uit van de functie. In sommige gevallen worden producten rechtstreeks doorverkocht aan de klant.
  • Je staat regelmatig in contact met leveranciers, zowel in het Nederlands als in het Engels.
  • Je onderhandelt om de beste prijs en de meest gunstige voorwaarden te bekomen.
  • Je werkt nauw samen met andere afdelingen binnen EDR om projecten succesvol af te ronden.

Uiteraard houd je hierbij steeds rekening met de planning en de afgesproken leveringstermijnen. Schepen moeten binnen strikte deadlines worden opgeleverd, waardoor het essentieel is dat de benodigde materialen tijdig beschikbaar zijn.

  • Je hebt een sterke affiniteit met techniek, opgebouwd door ervaring of via een relevante opleiding.
  • Heb je zelf technische installaties uitgevoerd of een technische achtergrond in de praktijk? Dan is dat zeker een pluspunt.
  • Onderhandelen schrikt je niet af.
  • Je beschikt over een zeer goede kennis van het Nederlands en Engels.
  • Je werkt graag vanuit kantoor en hebt geen probleem met een aanwezigheid van vijf dagen per week (08.00 uur – 16.30 uur). Thuiswerk is niet mogelijk.
  • Je bent flexibel wanneer deadlines gehaald moeten worden, zowel wat betreft werkuren als sporadisch weekendwerk.
  • Je bent een echte teamspeler en beschikt over de nodige commerciële flair.
  • Je kunt vlot en nauwkeurig werken met Office 365.
  • Ervaring binnen de maritieme sector is een pluspunt.
