Ben jij een ervaren Technical Superintendent of maritiem ingenieur met een passie voor binnenvaart, scheepsbeheer en technische operaties? Spreek je vloeiend Duits en werk je graag nauw samen met bemanningen en scheepswerven?

Dan is dit jouw kans om een sleutelrol te spelen in het beheer van een moderne binnenvaartvloot in de regio Antwerpen.

Jouw functie als Technical Superintendent Binnenvaart

Als Technical Superintendent Binnenvaart ben je verantwoordelijk voor de technische prestaties, het onderhoud en de betrouwbaarheid van de vloot. Je fungeert als de cruciale schakel tussen crew, leveranciers en management.

Jouw taken:

  • Monitoren van de technische staat en operationele prestaties van de schepen
  • Plannen en coördineren van onderhoud, herstellingen en inspecties
  • Regelmatig bezoeken van schepen (2 à 3 keer per week)
  • Technische ondersteuning bieden aan de bemanning en sterke relaties opbouwen
  • Behandelen van technische incidenten en storingen (meedraaien in standby-rol)
  • Beheren en uitvoeren van technische projecten, refits en upgrades
  • Opstellen en opvolgen van preventieve onderhoudsplannen (PMS)
  • Contact onderhouden met scheepswerven, leveranciers en classificatiemaatschappijen
  • Beheren van het technisch budget en adviseren over langetermijninvesteringen

Jouw profiel als Technical Superintendent:

  • Bachelor in Maritieme Technologie, Elektromechanica of Engineering
  • Ervaring als Technical Superintendent of Vessel Manager (bij voorkeur in de binnenvaart)
  • Vloeiend in Duits en Engels (vereist)
  • Kennis van scheepsmotoren, voortstuwingssystemen en elektrische installaties
  • Ervaring met PMS-systemen en technische documentatie
  • Kennis van classificatieregels en maritieme wetgeving
  • Sterk probleemoplossend vermogen en hands-on mentaliteit
  • Communicatief sterk en in staat om vlot te schakelen met technische teams en crew
  • Flexibel en bereid om regelmatig te reizen
