Teeltadviseur Fruitteelt

Voor een toonaangevende speler binnen de fruitsector zijn wij op zoek naar een Teeltadviseur Fruitteelt te Sint-Truiden en Glabbeek. Heb jij een passie voor hardfruit en werk je graag nauw samen met telers? Combineer je graag praktijk, innovatie en kennisdeling? Dan is deze functie misschien wel jouw volgende uitdaging.

Jouw takenpakket

Als Teeltadviseur Fruitteelt ben je de verbindende schakel tussen telers, onderzoek en commerciële activiteiten. Je ondersteunt telers bij het optimaliseren van hun teelten en draagt actief bij aan de verdere ontwikkeling van de fruitsector.

Je bent onder meer verantwoordelijk voor:

  • Het onderhouden van nauwe contacten met fruittelers en het opvolgen van hun teelten.
  • Het verzamelen, analyseren en delen van teeltgerelateerde kennis en data.
  • Het adviseren van telers rond productie, kwaliteit en optimalisatie van hun bedrijfsvoering.
  • Het ondersteunen van het verkoopproces in samenwerking met de commerciële afdeling.
  • Het samenwerken met onderzoeksinstellingen, leveranciers, overheden en interne stakeholders.
  • Het bijdragen aan product- en rassenontwikkeling binnen de fruitsector.
  • Het organiseren en begeleiden van studiedagen, terreinbezoeken en infosessies voor telers.
  • Het opvolgen van nieuwe ontwikkelingen en innovaties binnen de sector.

Wie zoeken wij?

  • Je beschikt over een bachelor- of masterdiploma in Agro- en Biotechnologie, Landbouwkunde, Bio-ingenieurswetenschappen of gelijkwaardig door ervaring.
  • Je hebt een sterke interesse in hardfruit en de fruitteeltsector.
  • Ervaring binnen fruitteelt of agrarische advisering is een pluspunt.
  • Je communiceert vlot in het Nederlands en beschikt over een basiskennis Frans.
  • Je bouwt gemakkelijk relaties op en voelt je thuis tussen telers.
  • Je werkt graag op het terrein en haalt energie uit rechtstreeks contact met klanten.
  • Je bent ondernemend, neemt initiatief en werkt zelfstandig.
  • Tegelijk functioneer je goed binnen een team en draag je bij aan gezamenlijke doelstellingen.
