Of je nu aan het begin van je carrière staat of al jarenlang ervaring hebt opgedaan in de tuinbouw: bij J&A Flowers kijken we vooral naar jouw kennis, motivatie en ambitie. Op onze moderne locatie in De Lier krijg je de kans om verantwoordelijkheid te nemen over een prachtige, grotendeels gloednieuwe kas van maar liefst 10 hectare. Je werkt met de nieuwste technieken, krijgt volop ruimte om jezelf verder te ontwikkelen én mee te groeien met ons bedrijf. Klinkt dat als jouw volgende stap? Dan maken we graag kennis met je. Wat ga je doen? Als Teeltspecialist bij J&A Flowers ben jij verantwoordelijk voor de teelt van onze pluischrysanten. Je houdt het gewas scherp in de gaten, stuurt bij waar nodig en zorgt ervoor dat de teeltomstandigheden optimaal zijn. Je werkt in een moderne kas waar gebruik wordt gemaakt van technieken zoals LED-belichting, verneveling, dubbele scherminstallaties, verschillende ontvochtigingssystemen en insectengaas in de luchtramen. Jouw werkzaamheden bestaan onder andere uit: - Het monitoren en optimaliseren van de teelt. - Eindverantwoordelijk voor de gewasbeschermingHet analyseren van teeltgegevens en klimaatinstellingen. - Het signaleren van afwijkingen en het nemen van passende maatregelen. - Het meedenken over innovaties en verbeteringen binnen de teelt. - Het onderhouden van contacten met leveranciers en adviseurs. - Het delen van kennis met collega's en het begeleiden van medewerkers op teeltgebied. Je staat er niet alleen voor. Wekelijks overleg je met een teeltvertegenwoordiger en regelmatig spar je met andere specialisten in teelt. Daarnaast neem je deel aan verschillende excursiegroepen, zodat je continu kunt blijven leren en ontwikkelen. Op de locatie werk je samen met een vast team aan medewerkers.
