In deze tak van sport worden verschillende gewastypes jaarrond geproduceerd en afgeleverd in binnen- en buitenland. Tevens ben je medeverantwoordelijk voor de teelt van Pick-&-Joy®, een andere belangrijke activiteit binnen ons bedrijf. Dit snel groeiende assortiment met ruim 20 eigen rassen bestaat uit compacte en vooral unieke groenteplanten in een pot, die na een teeltduur van ca. 12 weken met rijpe vruchtjes verkocht worden in het voorjaar en de zomer. Functieomschrijving Als teeltspecialist ben jij dé specialist op gebied van groenteteelt, die sturing geeft aan de hoofd teler van een locatie en zijn team van telers. Juist deze verantwoordelijkheid is waarom je de stap naar deze functie wil zetten. Je houdt het overzicht en geeft leiding vanuit een helikopterview. Je herkent de grote lijnen en hebt oog voor detail. Je ziet niet alleen wat er moet gebeuren, maar je bent in staat te reflecteren, beslissen en verbeteren. Met het team streven naar de hoogst haalbare kwaliteit is waar jij energie uithaalt! Daarnaast word je blij van het bedenken, onderzoeken en uitvoeren van innovatietrajecten met als doel optimalisatie van het teeltproces. Je bespreekt de strategische teeltprotocollen per locatie en begeleidt de implementatie ervan. Het proactief signaleren van verbeterpunten en adviseren in teelttechniek en automatisering doe je vanuit kennis en passie. Je bent graag op de hoogte van de laatste ontwikkelingen en waar mogelijk vergroot je jouw kennis door externe contacten en bijscholing. Ook wil je jouw team laten groeien.
