Een glastuinbouwbedrijf in Vremde dat gespecialiseerd is in de teelt van groenten is op zoek naar een teeltverantwoordelijke. Binnen deze job sta je in voor het volgend takenpakket:

  • Je stuurt het volledige teeltproces aan en optimaliseert continu de groeiomstandigheden van de planten op basis van data, ervaring en inzicht.
  • Je ziet toe op een optimaal groeiklimaat (klimaat, watergift, voeding en energiegebruik)
  • Je analyseert teeltdata en vertaalt deze analyses naar gerichte acties om productievolume en productkwaliteit te optimaliseren.
  • Je ontwikkelt en implementeert een geïntegreerde gewasbeschermingsstrategie afgestemd op het teeltsysteem en de bedrijfsdoelstellingen.
  • Je organiseert en volgt het scouten van ziekten, plagen en nuttigen nauwgezet op om tijdig corrigerende maatregelen te nemen.
  • Je stuurt medewerkers aan, coacht hen in hun ontwikkeling en denkt strategisch mee over innovaties, proefrassen en procesverbeteringen.
  • Je hebt 5 jaar relevante ervaring in een vergelijkbare functie binnen de glastuinbouw
  • Je hebt een masterdiploma in een biologische of agrarische richting (bijvoorbeeld bio-ingenieur, industrieel ingenieur, biologie, ...)
  • Je bent analytisch, je werkt datagedreven en je kan teeltdata vertalen naar concrete en onderbouwde teeltbeslissingen
  • Je bent hands-on en communicatief sterk; je weet hoe je een team kan motiveren en aansturen
