Jobomschrijving

Binnen Infrabel maak je deel uit van het team “Transmission Architecture & Security”, dat verantwoordelijk is voor het ontwerp en de verdere ontwikkeling van de netwerkinfrastructuur volgens de hoogste standaarden op het vlak van beveiliging, beschikbaarheid en performantie.

Het team werkt onder meer rond IP-, MPLS- en SDN-omgevingen, Data Center, Campus, glasvezel, cybersecurity en automatisering. Het doel is betrouwbare en veilige communicatie te garanderen, die essentieel is voor de goede werking van de spooractiviteiten en de bescherming van de infrastructuur.

Jouw verantwoordelijkheden

Als Network Telecom Specialist draag je bij aan het ontwerp, de implementatie en de verdere ontwikkeling van onze netwerkinfrastructuur.

Concreet:

  • Je ontwerpt en implementeert veilige, performante en schaalbare netwerkoplossingen, onder meer op basis van Cisco ACI, Cisco SDA en andere SDN-technologieën.
  • Je draagt bij aan de evolutie en transformatie van het netwerk, met bijzondere aandacht voor automatisering, beveiliging en de uitrol van Cisco SDA.
  • Je werkt samen met verschillende teams om netwerksegmentatie en policy-based automatisering te optimaliseren.
  • Je analyseert de netwerkprestaties en verkeersstromen om de stabiliteit van de omgeving te waarborgen en mogelijke problemen proactief te detecteren.
  • Je helpt het incidentbeheer te verbeteren door middel van proactieve monitoring en automatisering.
  • Je waakt over de naleving van normen, best practices en beveiligingsvereisten zoals NIS2, IEC/ISA 62443 en ISO 27001.
  • Je fungeert als escalatiepunt voor de operationele teams bij complexe of kritieke netwerkincidenten.
  • Je biedt technische en architecturale expertise aan projectteams en andere betrokken stakeholders.
  • Je begeleidt minder ervaren netwerkingenieurs en deelt je kennis, onder meer rond SDA-technologieën.
  • Je werkt samen met leveranciers en technische partners om complexe technische problemen op te lossen, onder meer via het beheer van Cisco TAC-cases.
  • Je hebt minstens 10 jaar ervaring in network engineering en het ontwerpen van netwerkoplossingen, bij voorkeur binnen grootschalige enterprise-omgevingen.
  • Je hebt uitgebreide hands-on ervaring met Cisco SDA en kennis van Cisco Catalyst Center, Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE), Cisco Catalyst-switches en Wireless LAN Controllers.
  • Je hebt een grondige kennis van Software-Defined Networking (SDN), netwerkautomatisering en netwerkbeveiliging.
  • Je beheerst geavanceerde netwerkprotocollen zoals OSPF, BGP, IS-IS, MPLS, VXLAN, EVPN, LISP en pxGrid.
  • Je hebt ervaring met netwerksegmentatie, microsegmentatie en policy-based architecturen.
  • Je hebt praktische ervaring met automatiseringstools zoals Ansible en Python voor netwerkorkestratie.
  • Je hebt kennis van firewalltechnologieën zoals Fortinet, Check Point en/of vergelijkbare oplossingen.
  • Je hebt praktische ervaring met grootschalige, multi-platform netwerkomgevingen.
  • Kennis van industriële OT-protocollen zoals Profinet, BACnet en OPC-UA is een pluspunt.
  • Een certificering zoals CCNP of CCIE, met focus op Enterprise Networks of Network Design, is een sterke troef. Een specialisatie in Cisco SDA, Catalyst Center of SD-Access is eveneens een pluspunt.
  • Je hebt interesse in spoorweginfrastructuur en -activiteiten en bent bereid je te verdiepen in de specifieke businessbehoeften. Ervaring binnen de spoorweg- of transportsector is een pluspunt.
