Je werkzaamheden bestaan uit watergift, gewasbescherming, klimaatbeheersing, voedingsniveaus en de beoordeling van gewassen. Je stuurt de gewassen om, in het juiste afleverstadium en op het juiste aflevertijdstip te kunnen afleveren. Afhankelijk van jouw kennis en ervaring, stel je de klimaatcomputer in, controleer je technische installaties, overleg je met collega's en stuur je bij of aan daar waar nodig. Je bent werkzaam binnen een enthousiast en professioneel teeltteam bestaande uit circa 25 collega's verspreid over zes locaties en werkzaam op verschillende niveaus. Uiteraard zijn jouw werkzaamheden afhankelijk van jouw werkervaring en kennisniveau. Ben jij een startende teler met weinig kennis en ervaring, dan zullen wij jou alle kneepjes van het vak gaan leren. Ben jij een teler met de nodige kennis en ervaring, dan kun je jouw kennis delen met collega's en al snel zelfstandig aan de slag. Zo fungeert de hoofd teler als mentor voor startende collega's en ben je als teeltmanager altijd up-to-date over de laatste teelttechnische ontwikkelingen, adviseer je op het hoogste niveau en ben je eindverantwoordelijk voor het gehele teeltproces op alle locaties.
