Teler Veredelingsafdeling Westland Wat ga je doen? Op de veredelingslocatie werk je nauw samen met de veredelaar en een klein team aan de ontwikkeling van unieke snijbloemen. Verschillende rassen worden veredeld, getest, gemonitord en beoordeeld. Daarbij zorg je ervoor dat de planten onder optimale omstandigheden kunnen groeien en zich goed kunnen ontwikkelen. Als teler ben je verantwoordelijk voor de dagelijkse teeltwerkzaamheden en het creëren van de juiste groeiomstandigheden. Je houdt je bezig met onder andere klimaatregeling, watergift, grondbewerking, bemesting en eventuele gewasbescherming. Je organiseert je werkzaamheden zelfstandig, denkt vooruit en neemt initiatief wanneer dat nodig is. Je ziet wat er moet gebeuren en zorgt ervoor dat alles goed geregeld is. Daarbij werk je nauwkeurig en heb je oog voor detail. Wat ga je doen? • Je overlegt met het veredelingsteam over de teelt en de ontwikkeling van de gewassen. • Je zorgt voor optimale groeiomstandigheden en een gezonde gewasontwikkeling. • Je plant, organiseert en voert je werkzaamheden zelfstandig uit. • Je signaleert bijzonderheden en speelt hier tijdig op in. • Je bestelt en koopt zelfstandig de benodigde materialen en middelen in. Wat vragen wij? • Je hebt ervaring met teelttechniek en beschikt over goede plantenkennis. • Je bent verantwoordelijk, sociaal en communicatief vaardig. • Je kunt zelfstandig werken, bent flexibel en denkt graag praktisch mee. • Je werkt nauwkeurig en hebt oog voor detail. • Je neemt initiatief en denkt graag vooruit.
