The posting

Als Terminal Manager ben je verantwoordelijk voor het volledige operationele, financiële en personeelsbeheer van één van de grootste Road crossdock-operaties van DSV in België. Je zorgt ervoor dat de terminal dagelijks efficiënt functioneert binnen een 24/7-omgeving en zet actief in op structuur, efficiëntie en continue verbetering.

Vanuit Puurs stuur je een complexe en grootschalige operatie aan, bestaande uit een crossdock- en exportterminal met 101 laadkades en een oppervlakte van 15.100 m². Dagelijks passeren tientallen terminalvoertuigen, CODI-vrachtwagens en inkomende en uitgaande zendingen deze site. Daarmee vormt de terminal een cruciale schakel binnen het Europese DSV Road-netwerk.

Jouw verantwoordelijkheden

  • Eindverantwoordelijkheid voor de operationele en financiële prestaties van de terminal (P&L).
  • Aansturen, coachen en verder ontwikkelen van supervisors en teamleaders binnen een 24/7-operatie.
  • Garanderen van efficiënte, veilige en klantgerichte crossdock- en exportactiviteiten.
  • Stimuleren van continue verbetering, operationele excellentie en de implementatie van het SEAL-transitieprogramma.
  • Opbouwen en onderhouden van sterke relaties met interne en externe stakeholders en toezien op de naleving van bedrijfsrichtlijnen en procedures.
  • Optreden als eindverantwoordelijke operationele leidinggevende van één van de belangrijkste Road-terminals binnen DSV.

  • Ervaring binnen een administratieve HR-functie of als HR Officer.
  • Goede kennis van de Belgische sociale wetgeving. Ervaring binnen Paritair Comité 226 is een pluspunt.
  • Vertrouwdheid met Protime, GBS of soortgelijke HR-systemen vormt een meerwaarde.
  • Sterke administratieve vaardigheden en oog voor detail.
  • Een gestructureerde en nauwkeurige manier van werken.
  • Discreet omgaan met vertrouwelijke informatie.
  • Vlotte communicatieve vaardigheden en een klantgerichte instelling.
  • Het vermogen om prioriteiten te stellen en deadlines te respecteren in een dynamische werkomgeving.
  • Een goede kennis van het Nederlands en Engels, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk.
  • Zowel zelfstandig als in teamverband efficiënt kunnen werken.
  • Een proactieve houding en de bereidheid om initiatief te nemen.
