Functieomschrijving Als Terminal Medewerker ben jij dagelijks bezig op de terminal tussen de containers. Je controleert handmatig de temperaturen van reefercontainers, koppelt deze aan en af en zorgt dat alles veilig en volgens procedure verloopt. Je werkt veel buiten, bent continu fysiek bezig en hebt contact met je collega's en de afdeling Engineering. Tijdens je inwerkperiode word je goed begeleid door een ervaren leidinggevende en leer je stap voor stap het vak. Daarna ga je zelfstandig aan de slag in volcontinudienst. Je draagt bij aan het veilig en efficiënt laten verlopen van het logistieke proces van bederfelijke goederen, zoals groente, fruit en medicatie. Je maakt makkelijk je stappen per dag, werkt regelmatig op hoogte en houdt altijd het overzicht bij je taken. Jouw werkzaamheden bestaan onder andere uit: - Handmatig monitoren en noteren van temperaturen van reefercontainers; - Aan- en afkoppelen van koelcontainers op de terminal; - Controleren van containernummers en zorgen voor correcte plaatsing; - Volgen van veiligheidsprocedures en melden van afwijkingen; - Resetten van koelsystemen indien nodig; - Nauwkeurig rapporteren en samenwerken met Engineering.
