Wat doet een Test Operator bij onze klant?

Als Test Operator controleer je of een digitale industriële printer perfect werkt voordat deze naar de klant vertrekt.

Je test de machine in twee stappen:

Stap 1: Controle van alle onderdelen

Eerst controleer je of alle elektrische componenten correct werken.

Je volgt hiervoor vaste procedures en checklists en test onderdelen zoals:

  • elektrische verbindingen
  • sensoren
  • motoren
  • printkoppen
  • kabels en aansluitingen

Merk je een probleem op? Dan spoor je de oorzaak op, los je het op en registreer je wat je hebt gedaan.

?? Dit is typisch technisch testwerk waarbij logisch nadenken en foutopsporing belangrijk zijn.

Stap 2: Testen van de volledige printer

Wanneer alle afzonderlijke onderdelen werken, test je de volledige machine.

  • start de printer op
  • stelt parameters af
  • voert kalibraties uit
  • laat testprints maken
  • controleert de afdrukkwaliteit

Je kijkt naar zaken zoals:

  • kleurkwaliteit
  • scherpte van de afdruk
  • uitlijningµ
  • printfouten
  • algemene werking van de machine

Eigenlijk beoordeel je de machine alsof je zelf de klant bent. Pas wanneer de kwaliteit perfect is, wordt de printer vrijgegeven.

Na een uitgebreide opleiding krijg je de verantwoordelijkheid om machines zelfstandig te testen en op tijd af te leveren aan de volgende productiefase.

Je werkt zelfstandig, maar kan steeds rekenen op de ondersteuning van collega's en de kwaliteitsafdeling.

Wie zoeken we?

Je hebt een technische achtergrond, bij voorkeur in elektriciteit, elektromechanica of een gelijkaardige richting. Een A2-diploma (TSO) of relevante praktijkervaring volstaat.

Je voelt je thuis in een technische omgeving en haalt voldoening uit het opsporen en oplossen van problemen. Je werkt graag volgens vaste procedures en checklists, maar denkt ook zelfstandig na wanneer iets niet werkt zoals verwacht.

Je hebt oog voor detail en neemt niet zomaar genoegen met "goed genoeg". Je controleert kritisch je eigen werk en streeft naar een kwalitatief eindresultaat.

Daarnaast:

Werk je nauwkeurig en gestructureerd.

Kan je zelfstandig werken, maar overleg je vlot met collega's wanneer nodig.

Heb je interesse in techniek en wil je voortdurend bijleren.

Denk je logisch en analytisch bij het zoeken naar fouten en oplossingen.

Ben je verantwoordelijk en betrouwbaar in het opvolgen van procedures.

Heb je een goede kennis van het Nederlands en kan je Engelstalige handleidingen en werkinstructies begrijpen.

Ervaring met het testen van machines, elektrische installaties of technische apparatuur is mooi meegenomen, maar geen vereiste.

Veiligheid staat centraal: een VCA-certificaat is een plus. Heb je dit nog niet? Dan ben je bereid om intern de nodige veiligheidsopleidingen (BA4/BA5) te volgen.
