The posting

TiKo (TierschutzKompetenzzentrum in Klagenfurt) ist eine private und unabhängige Nonprofit-Organisation für alleingelassene und vernachlässigte Tiere. Jährlich werden über 1.000 Tiere (Hunde, Katzen und Kleintiere) aufgenommen, gepflegt und an neue Besitzer_innen vermittelt. Die Tätigkeiten sind maßgeblich durch private Spender_innen finanziert.

Für die Pflege der uns anvertrauten Tiere erweitern wir unser Team und suchen 1 Tierpfleger_in Wir suchen eine_n Tierpfleger_in mit viel Tierliebe und Einsatzfreude.

Für deinen Einsatz im TiKo kannst du folgendes erwarten:

* Ein tolles Team, das engagiert und mit viel Einfühlungsvermögen für die Tiere arbeitet.

* Die Option, nach entsprechender Erfahrung eine Führungsposition zu übernehmen.

* Die Möglichkeit, viel zu lernen, da wir mit externen Tiertrainern zusammenarbeiten und Wert auf Fortbildung legen.

* Einen unbefristeten Arbeitsvertrag und vorausschauende Urlaubsplanung

* Freie Mitarbeiterparkplätze, Kaffee, Tee und Jause, vergünstigtes Mittagsmenü

* Einen Mindestlohn von € 2.150,- brutto mit der Bereitschaft zur Überzahlung je nach Qualifikation und Berufserfahrung

Zu den zentralen Aufgaben gehören:

* tägliche Reinigung der Zwinger und Tierbereiche

* Fütterung und Medikamentengabe

* artgerechte Beschäftigung und Betreuung der Tiere

* Beobachtung des Gesundheitszustandes und Dokumentation

Nach der Einschulungsphase erweitert sich dein Tätigkeitsbereich zusätzlich um:

* Fahrten im Rahmen der Tierrettung Kärnten

* Betreuung von Tierpat_innen

* Durchführung von Vergabegesprächen

* Tiertraining Gemeinsam sorgen wir außerdem dafür, dass unser Tierheim sauber, gepflegt und gut organisiert bleibt.

Das bringst du mit:

* abgeschlossene Ausbildung als Tierpfleger_in

* große Tierliebe sowie Verantwortungsbewusstsein

* hohes Hygienebewusstsein und zuverlässiges Arbeiten

* keine Tierhaarallergien

* freundlichen und respektvollen Umgang mit Kolleg_innen und Besucher_innen

* Bereitschaft, auch am Samstag/Sonntag und an Feiertagen zu arbeiten

* Führerschein B sowie eigenes Fahrzeug zur Erreichung des Dienstortes

Arbeitszeiten:

* Dienstrad: 4 Tage arbeiten, 2 Tage frei (wechselnd)

* reguläre Arbeitszeit: 07:30 Uhr bis 16:30 Uhr

* 1x wöchentlich Spätdienst bis 17:30 Uhr
